I don't like the distance that i need travel 300kms to reach college

Course Curriculum Overview :

My course is software and hardware based and that intrigued me to take this course. This course prepares you extremely well for the difficulties faced in real professional world and teaches you core subjects too that help you crack big interviews

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 2500000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Our college provides extremely good internship opportunites two times first as a summer intern and then in the internship semester. These opportunities boosts the moral of the students as stipend offered is great

Placement Experience :

The companies that visit our campus are quite big as all the big MNC including THE MAANG and the big four of consultancy visit our campus providing us great internships and placements opportunities. A majority of students gets placed leading to good average package

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

the college provide very good c]scholarship opportunites for the academically brilliant students, the eonomically backward students and the students that have good merit. The complete cost of education is around 25-30 lakhs and the fees per year cost around 5 lakh ruppes. The college has opportunities of scholarships for students have family income less than 10 lakhs and the college is great helper in these cases

Campus Life :

We have many fests the most astonishing fest that our college showcases is the cultural fest called SATURNALIA which gave us opportunities to experience artists like Mohit Chauhan. All the other fest are being organised by the societies present in our college and trust me they are one hell of a ride

Hostel Facilities :

Our college provies us almost 5 star hostels from the secomd year hostels having ac and good furniture installed. The locality also offers good options for a pg and that too at a reasonable price. Registration is done on an app built by college students

Hostel Fee : INR 58000 per year

Admission :

The admission is done through the JEE examination and from the boards score as well and the process of reservation is significant in this college as they provide 50% home state quota that gives the students of punjab a great option in terms of academic excellence

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio is average but special tutorial classes are taken to improve student's performance. Faculty is well qualified and most of them are IITians and are well qualified to teach you . You can interact with your teachers at your will

From passing 2nd year onwards students are eligible for the placements classes which costs around 10-12k till 4th year. I'm from mechanical field so the highest package is around 18 lakhs and average package goes to 4-6 lakhs.

Inside LPU: Student's prespective

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as I was passionate about coding from my 10th class and technology always fascinates me. In our class, total students were 70 which was same for most of the sections. Some faculty members of my college were good while most of them were tolerable. Most of them had masters degree and some had done PhD. They were focused mostly on the curricullum designed by the university and completed syllabus within the timeline.Our college had separate marks for attendance and any student with below 75 attendance will not be able to give end term exams except for some medical condition. We had CAs (class assement exams), mid term exams and end term exams. The CAs are little bit higher level as that of mid and end terms exams. Overall exams are moderate to higher and someone who had studied the syllabus topics and followed the faculty members will easy pass the exam.

A Closer Look at LPU: A Student's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Placement of cse is very good with respect to other branches. Almost 70–80% of eligible students(having cgpa more than 6.67) get placed in different mnc’s. 1.package less than 4 lacs 80% of placed students get package of less than 4 lacs in companies like cognizant,tcs,techmahindra etc. 2.package in between 4–7 lacs 15% of placed students falls in this category,they get companies like bosch,yodlee,hitachi etc. 3.package of approx 15 lacs Remaining 5% students get placement in amazon(package 16 lpa) which visit lpu every year.

Only one thing I hate about college is they don't paint the building outside of the whole college for income tax purpose I think this is very disappointing thing of the college But otherwise College is good.
