It was a good college i’ll rate it 7/10 . I guess it was my good choice.
Entrance Preview :
I hear about this college that it is overall best college in private college, the academics and faculty are so good. Yes, the college arranges the competition for a student. Gender ratios are all simple this college is girls college. Every activity we all enjoy. Yes, they have a lab library in which we can give our practical. They arrange also a trip or tour for us every moment I enjoy my college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In education, the term assessment refers to the wide variety of methods or tools that educators use to evaluate, measure, and document the academic readiness, learning progress, skill acquisition, or educational needs of students. in the curriculum assessment process. It was good. In the complete 4 years, I learned a lot of good things. Especially from practical labs. lab technicians had good knowledge and supportive. We had also good major and minor projects and gave chance to explore the knowledge what we have got from last 4 years
Internships Opportunities :
No internship is providing by the college. In addition to you and employers, there is a third party who benefits from your internship. Your college uses the list of places where students have interned to attract new students.
Placement Experience :
It was above the Average. But yes in the year of 2014 and 2017 college had more placements. I also participated in more than 20 companies job fare ( in college and out of college). Companies were not much big but do not matter for your first opportunity
College Events :
I forgot the names But yes a lot which encourages and motivated to learn new things. Every semester we used to have a different type of educational, cultural, technical activities and also seminar and presentations and minor projects with the guidance of seniors.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
I must say feasible if we compare with other colleges. I also got scholarship . But transport and hostel facilities were expensive.every can not effort and force to live outside the campus and use public transport. Hostel is expensive but academic structure is feasible.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
A scholar was there for diploma students and yes also loan facilities provided which really required . If I remember EMI option also provided for the poor students. ya, the laptop was given to students who scored 75% above in graduation and loan assistance was provided by college . Scholarships are avavilable according to marks and also according to the government. Loan can be taken by yes bank or canera bank in our college.
Campus Life :
Yes, the college arrange the competition for student. Gender ratios is all simple this college is girls college. Every activity we all enjoy. Yes they have lab liberary in which we can give our pratical. They arrange also trip or tour for us every moment i enjoy in my college.
Hostel Facilities :
I would like to rate 7/10. Beds are too small, and in the start prior they maintain the quality of food but after some time I'll reduce. So it was not totally worthwhile. Poornima Group comprises of four hostels- Gayatri Girls Hostel, Gurushikhar Boys Hostel and Aravali Boys Hostel. Every year annual hostel fest is celebrated in all the four hostels with a great pomp and show. The hostel fest of Gayatri has been named as TATVA-TOQUE. The hostel fest of Gurushikhar has been named as AAYAM. The hostel fest of Aravali has been named as PARAM.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni we are not connected to them as per knowledge we never required help from them just because our faculty is good in everything. Yes they was helpful. Their is a alumni community in this college.
Exam Structure :
Exams were Well structured in the college . Every semester have structured pattern of exams . Even not scheduled there was surprises test to evaluate the students . And all students may have extra classes if someone feels weak in particular subject .
Admission :
I had passed my entrance exam of RPET, after this, I got eligible for counseling. In my counseling list, Poornima college was first. I was sort listed for Poornima college of engineering with electronics and communications branch. They introduced with me with the tutor they filled my form of the admission process.
Faculty :
Study the knowledge base of teaching and learning. Accept all who enter the classroom door. Plan for instructional management. Teach with a variety of strategies. Use assessment to inform students of their achievement. Keep the passion. Faculty could be better . Mist of the faculties was from the same college pass out and the challenge of lack of knowledge and less experience of teaching.but yes the lab technicians were very supportive and always ready to help.I really appreciate their efforts.
