  • Campus is much more less with my expectations
  • There is wide diversity present in campus but there is some biasing seen inside the college

Course Curriculum Overview :

The subject I like is business analytics as I am coming from engineering background I like getting attentive some times. That I am getting it from the said subject and I also like about the fact that they are one of the best B-school which is providing the Marketing specialisation in india. And they are conducting exams in specified intervals to give us the time to adapt to the curriculum and the subjects as not everyone can digest this much details in the short time.

Internships Opportunities :

Stipend is starting from 6 thousand per month to 25 thousand per month depends ng on the company which we are going to select for the internship. And also there are some projects which is available for the students to participate and they are gonna provide certificate for it.

Placement Experience :

After the second semester the students are going for the internship programme and after they are gonna get the offera from the same company in which they attended for the internship if they were doing good during the said process. Highest package in the college is around 28 lakh per annum and average is around 8 lakh per annum. Around 93% students have been placed in the previous year. My plan is to secure a good job in the coperate world for some 8-10 years and to start a startup company in india.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

They are not gonna increase the fee from the said amount. But they are definitely providing aids for the wanted students and giving some scholarship to the students which are good in the academics. They also provides aids for students to get campus employment by giving us some mentorship programmes and directing us to the right path which is beneficial for the students.

Campus Life :

There are so many club activities available in college everyone has the option to choose the club with their own preferences and it is must to attend a minimum of 3 clubs during your time. And they also provides some sports activities but they need to improve in that area as it is not upto my expectations

Admission :

Took the entrance exam named as IBSAT to get admission, and for the mumbai campus the cut-off was around 80 percentile. And eligibility is to have a UG graduation in any of the stream. Will get the details about the exam and its fees and dates on internet. They did provide some aids during the slection they could have done better with the timings.

Faculty :

As I've only started my college in IBS recently I cannot say much more about it. But the faculties that are taking for me are very good in teaching and they are giving us the opportunity to interact with in the dialy basis for better understanding of our knowledge and hard skills.

Interview Experience :

Yes there were all the said process during the slection process. For group discussion the topic was about was implent is more important than the strategy. And for personal interview session the pattern was to find are we good in presenting us to the audience in the proper manner and are we good to keep the etiquette during the all process.

From trimester 4, students are eligible for placements. Every year, top pharmaceutical corporations pay visits to institutions. Pharmaceuticals, medical devices, market research, consulting, IT healthcare verticals, diagnostics, medical communication, nutraceuticals, and other related healthcare sectors are just a few of the industries where students might find work. Sales, marketing, business analysis, project management, client servicing and business development, international marketing, and operations are among the job profiles they pursue. Every year, the most expensive bundles change. Companies give PPOs to high-performing employees.

Placement Experience:

There is a summer internship after the first 3 trimesters where companies come for interviews and roles depend on the company that selects you. It is for 2-3 months usually and is compulsory ie a part of the curriculum to complete to qualify for the degree. Same for final placement, interviews begin after the 4th trimester is done. More than 50 companies came to campus for final placement and highest package given was 11.2 lakhs and average was 8.8 lakhs which depended on the company and the job role. Roles are offered for consulting, IT, media, manufacturing and banking and finance roles of HR Generalist, HR Business Analyst and Talent Acquisition. Companies such as Godrej, IndusInd bank, TCS, Zee, Meru, Capstone, etc were the prominent companies for the final placement. 100% placement was achieved for the HR specialization.

Students sit for their Summer placements from the 2nd Trimester onwards. NM has a trimester system. A total of 181 companies visited the campus for the Summers of 2020-22 batch. 28 of them were from Fortune 500 companies and 90 new recruits. The total number of offers made was roughly 650-700 and still counting. The highest stipend was 3 lakhs and the average stood at 1.2 lakhs. Top 50 offers clocked an average of 2.48 lakhs. The different profiles for which the companies came were IT analytics, Consulting, E-commerce, BFSI, FMCG, FMCD, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Media & Telecom, Logistics, oil, and gas, etc. NMIMS Mum has 100% placement records. After doing my MBA I plan to go back to Corporate and learn and implement at the workplace. Thereby have self-growth and also bring revenues to the company.

They do have a placement committee. Most of my classmates are already placed at top-notch brands and agencies through the placement cell. Post 9 months, we have to do a mandatory internship to get hands-on experience of the industry life and work culture.
