- I really liked the cooperation provided by the faculty there and their expertise as well as the teaching methods
- The curriculum is quite relevant to the course and degree that we're trying to get which makes it very beneficial
Dislikes
- I think the infrastructure of the main msit building needs to be looked at
- Campus amenities and sports facilities should be improved
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum prepares one for real world applications and also there is an advantage of choosing course of your own after the 2nd year which involves whether you want btech with or without specialisation in AI or ML There also exists frequent class tests, mid sem exams and end semester exams which helps in testing your knowledge thoroughly
Internships Opportunities :
After 2nd year, students are provided with summer training or summer internships during summer vacations and then a project has to be submitted about the same during the 6th semester and a viva also takes place.
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible for placements from 7 semester and many companies like Adobe, TCS, Amazon, Google and many more product based companies visit the campus providing amazing offers to the brilliant students In the last year, the highest package offered was by Google at about 1.5 Crores
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Maharaja surajmal institute of technology is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University which provides alot of scholarships and many financial aids are available for students. You can apply for various contest and competitions Also the btech course in this college is quite very much affordable when compared to other colleges especially when it comes to B. Tech.
Campus Life :
There are two types of fests held in a year and they mostly take place during March and October months. Amazing fests are organised by the prakriti and NSS societies of msit. Many students run social groups, clubs or students portals including their impact on student's life.
Hostel Facilities :
Honestly speaking, hostel facility is the worst in this college. I myself have lived in the hostel for about 2 years and I can say that it's literally not worth the money. There are such bad facilities including electricity, food and even water supply. We have to complain about the same thing to the warden for about 6-7 times and still no action is taken. However the boys hostel facility is still much better than the girl's hostel i would say. They really need to work on their hostel
Admission :
The course that I'm pursuing is BTech and any student who is decent in physics maths and chemistry and has expertise in the subjects and has passed class 12 with decent percentage is very much eligible for the course. Jee percentile is mainly considered for the admission in msit via ggsipu counselling
Faculty :
First of all the best thing about this college is the faculty -to-student. It can be said that for every 10 students there exists a mentor and a teacher which helps them in their studies, placement as well as personality and character development. They teach phenomenal and their teaching tactics make learning easier One can interact with teachers anytime they want during college hours keep in view that the teacher must be available Otherwise the faculty of this college is just so good.
