Course Curriculum Overview :

I'm a student of Bachelor of Arts with Economics as major and Statistics as a Minor. I feel the curriculum is very good of statistics as it can be applied in different courses and economics is also relatable. Area of improvement would be in additional language subjects like Hindi and English as it doesn't add any value. Better they should add research projects for credit.

Internships Opportunities :

Intership Opportunities are well diversed from NGO to startup to corporates on the major fields like sales , marketing, social media ,content creation, finance and business development with the stipend based on performance or fixed for a month. Approx 90 companies has arrived for the past intership fair

Placement Experience :

College has a decent placement in the fields of consulting, auditing, sales and marketing with median package around 6-8 lakh per annum and highest packege of 21 lakhs with companies like EY, Deloitte etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Class Size: 120 Course Fees: INR 16947 per year Loan/Scholarship Provisions: The annual fee of the College is 17000 approx for a year and being a government college it's really good and in terms of financial aid, the college provides aid for the students whose family income is below 5 lakh. Campus provide jobs mostly in consulting and auditing field and internship in all domains.

Campus Life :

College host annual fest named "Nexus". It was a 3 day long event with different competitions and various concerts. This year they invited Mohit Chauhan for the final night. College society also host different competitions and webinars for the student development. The library has books of almost all the field with large study room with AC. Sports Fest was also organised with indoor and outdoor sports.

Admission :

Admission Process was simple. You have to register yourself on CSAS Portal of Delhi University after your CUET-UG results and then select the course and college you want to apply for and create a preference list according to your choice and you can check seats and eligibility of courses on CSAS UG Bulletin.

Faculty :

All the professors are having a good knowledge about the subjects and guide us with time about future opportunities with the course and providing transparency in their assessment about internal marks and provide students opportunities to improve in their subject. We can interact with teachers also during free time in staff room.

Placement Experience:

The Placement Cell of the college is very active. Students can avail themselves of the placement opportunities from the fifth semester. I have been selected as a content writer in the fifth semester. I was offered a 4.6 LPA in the esteemed company. More than 40 percent of students end up doing getting jobs. I have decided to earn some experience as a content writer and then apply for the MA journalism program.

Placement Experience:

For the courses like Architecture, Engineering, Law, Mass Communication, many big companies come for placements in Jamia. As my course is a Bachelors's subject under Arts, there aren't many placement opportunities. But I hope to pursue my Master in History after which I would try to get placed.

Placement Experience:

The placements for BA Program in particular are slightly lower as compared to other courses. Most students from the course opt for higher studies but the few who choose to sit for placements find it hard to land a job. Campus placements start in 5th semester and continue for the entire final year. A student is free to sit for as many companies as they like, as long as they meet the eligibility criteria like CGPA, course, etc. Most companies hire a maximum of 4 students owing to the small population of students at St. Stephen's. The highest package in 2021 was 18LPA and the average package is about 6 LPA-8 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Around 70% of the students get good campus placements, especially in the private sector. The average package for the students is 6,000,00 per annum. The highest package offered to the student varies between 25 lakhs to 35 lakhs. My plans are different as I want to pursue my higher education.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is good. It has tie ups with reputed news channels. But in our course, the college does not provide internships, students have do it themselves and they have to prepare their own youtube channel for work.

Remarks:

The management is an equally hardworking and efficient team like the faculties. They maintain a good relationship with the students as well as with the teachers and are approachable for both the parties. Their functioning has ensured that the college runs smoothly in terms of presenting itself to others.
