Likes
- Teachers are co-operative, friendly to the students and we can learn new things from them.
- Many educational/fun trips are organized by the college. Also security majors are properly taken care by the management team especially for girls.
Dislikes
- College campus is bigger then most of the colleges in Ludhiana as this mainly causes cleanliness issues here. Bigger area is not easy to clean.
- Canteen does not provide food variety and also the food taste is not so good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The syllabus includes all the important topics for the selected course. Syllabus covers the aspects that will be implemented in real life. Such as this subject called Indian Economy which helps to understand the market fluctuations, market structure, deperession, boom period. Students also need knowledge other than just theory. Smart boards of the classes do not work. Mid-semester tests are taken month before the exams. They are equally challenging as the final exams which helps the students to prepare well before the final test. Final exams are not so difficult if you have the deep knowledge on the subjects.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees are very less than the other institutes of ludhiana. There is not much fees hike. The complete cost of the education for 2 years is around 25 thousand Rupees including tuition, service fees, and any other expenses.
Campus Life :
Many fests,events were organized during the last session. Such as sports meet, diwali fest, lohri celebration, spring manifesto, teej celebration etc. Industrial visits were organized by arts and commerce departments. All types of books are available in the library but the behaviour of the librarian is very bad. Anti-ragging cell is available in the college. The smart boards in the classrooms are not in working condition.
Admission :
Admission was conducted on merit basis. also reservation are available for SC/ST, OBC. The biggest flaw of the college comes in there admission process. When i was paying the fees on admission portal. Various methods of payment is given on the site. Such as credit/debit cards, UPI. I chose UPI as method of payment, i paid the fees but i didn't recieve the receipt of payment. Teachers told me to pay the fees again as the UPI method is not applicable for admission. And they assured me that the fees that i paid the first time will be refunded. But months after months, even after several applications submitted i didn't get the refund. It took them 3 months to refund my money after submitting many applications. They should not give the UPI option if they can't accept the fees from that method.
Faculty :
Teachers are well qualified. They mostly have answers to our queries. They are friendly, co-operative towards their students. They are regular towards their classes. They are very much involved in student affairs which helps them to connect with their students even more. They are not biased. They treat everyone equally.
