Dislikes

  • Too much noise, too much crowd and not much safety in terms of availability of guards
  • The lack of easily available washrooms was a set back

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum was very scattered, didn't really benefit the needs of master's level degree students Less opportunity for real world interaction and sertings Too much importance given to practicals and theoretical knowledge The exams were held timely but were always stressful due the nature of exams

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition fee was really feasible comparative to other colleges and universities No unnecessary charges were included Scholarships and financial aids were available for students who came under the economically weaker sections Stipend given to only PhD scholars

Campus Life :

Different fests are conducted from different departments and students Each department has their own library, the central library houses a large number of books around different courses. Not much room for sport activities There are many social groups especially political groups are really active

Admission :

Bachelors degree is the eligibility criteria for this degree Reservation is given according to the rules and regulations, students can avail them easily using the certificates and necessary documents Admission process is easy and simple, can be done online too

Faculty :

Too less teachers as compared to students The classrooms were small Faculties were experienced but not much concerned woth the need of students Teachers were approachable, but their method of teaching wasn't upto the mark

As there are no practical classes It is always difficult to clear out doubts, but in case a student has any doubts on sunday, they can go to the college from 11am - 2p m.and clear their doubts to the available teachers, faculty members.

I think everything is perfect in IGNOU university. In case you have opportunity or time to go there, you should go and see the teachers there are very supportive and always ready to help. They never refuse for help.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very less. Jamia have outdated syllabus for Psychology. There is only a specialization comes in the third semester. But the compulsory two montha field work internshipnte is effective. It is a beginning for the preparation for us for the real world applications. But in Jamia we have many time for preparing for other competitive examinations for higher studies. Exams and teaching methods are good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Doing master in political science was the obvious choice for me because I have done my graduation in political science and if you are talking about the academics pursuit in this field you can how to do PHD after Clearing your net exam but there will be no other Job opportunity you will get in this course. The only scope you have that you can prepare for upsc or other government exams. Otherwise, if you are from engineering background that is, you have done your graduation from engineering then definitely you should opt further in this field only.

Remarks:

According to me, coming to JNU has been an life-altering experience for me. It has taught to embrace people from different backgrounds equally and also lended me the confidence to speak out my mind, even when it is not a popular opinion, whenever I want to. Also, the freedom of personal space that one can enjoy in this campus, without falling prey to any judgement, is also very inspiring and motivating.

This is the best and most affordable university in entire country. Students come from every background in this university. The diversity it provides in terms of International students and students from marginalized sections, amplifies the quality of classroom many times.

Remarks:

Overall Hindu College excels in each and every aspect, including teaching and non-teaching staff. The admin section is also very helpful and efficient. It is a wonderful space to spend the prime education years. If there has to be a negative remark, it is the washroom and toilet facilities. It is not well managed at all, especially the women's washrooms.

Remarks:

SAU is good in faculty and curriculum but its not good in facilities. Sau don't have any good campus. It feels like that one is coming in an institute to attend classes. Despite having great fees i.e. almost 30k per semester they provide us with zero facilities. Its a place for hostllers. Students coming from other states can find this place heaven. But for day scholars like me its like a punishment. I don't feel like going to college as you are excluded. Either they should have hostels for everyone or they should have other facilities.
