  • With all the brilliant minds the environment sometimes gets a little toxic
  • The academic load is very much in IITD compared to other IITs.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The Civil Engineering department is ranked as the best in the country, so all the courses of Civil give a very good idea about the core. But many a times, there are courses that are irrelevant to what is required in real life, and you do not have the option to skip them.

Internships Opportunities :

The Office Of Career Services helps to bring companies on the campus for internship offers. The students entering in 5th semester are eligible to sit in the Intern Interview and tests. There are more than 150 companies who visit the campus for internship offers who offer different stipends upto 10-20 lacs a month. Almost all the roles gets offered by the companies in the internship season.

Placement Experience :

The students get eligible for placements in their 7th(9th for dual degree) semester. The placement is done through Office Of Career Services. Around 300 companies visit the campus for the placements and around 1000 students gets placed. The highest package can go upto 3-4Cr, while the average hover around 15,00,000/-. Almost all the students gets placed in some company or the other.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tution fee for General Candidates is INR 1,00,000/-. There is a fee relaxation for those whose family income is between 5,00,000 and 10,00,000, and it is 33,000/-, and for SC,ST people and people with family income less than 5,00,000/-, the tution fee is waived off. The banks also provide laons to needy candidates.

Campus Life :

The co curricular environment is quite good at IITD. You are encouraged to join different clubs right after entering the college. The Annual Cultural fest, Rendezvous is held in October, while Tech Fest, Trust is held in March. There are around 1,00,000 books in the IITD library. The classrooms are equipped with ACs and projectors. There are almost all the sports (except shooting sports) available in tha campus. You are encouraged to atleast try all of them once.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel allotment is totally random. Anyone can get any of the hostels. There are 13 boys and 3 girls hostel in the campus. You are given a room with a cupboard and table in the hostel room. Every hostel has a mess for food in the hostel. The food quality of the mess is quite decent, but can get below par sometimes.

Admission :

The candidates first need to give JEE Mains examination, and then 2.5 lacs of them qualify for JEE Advanced. Then those secure rank of around 5000 are eligible for some branch or the other. There are relaxations for the reserved categories. After that, through JOSAA councelling, you can get admitted to the college.

Faculty :

The knowledge possessed by the faculty members is unbelievable. They are on the best persons about their field in the entire country. But knowledge is not equivalent to good teaching skills, and many a times during the lectures, the students have to pay the price.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college is preety good .. the only thing you have to focus is you have to maintain your cgpa and you have to develop skills .. Bec companies offered roles on the basis of cgpa for example only 9+ cgpa can sit for the position which offer 25-30 lakhs .. so it's very important to take care of it throughout your 4 years of btech

Placements stats are good for IIT Delhi. students entering their 7th semester are eligible for placements. Several companies visited for placements like Accenture, Cognizant, BCG , Microsoft , TATA, Quadeye , Jane street, Tower, etc. highest package was about 2.5cr/annum offered by Jane street for quant. trader profile . consultancy profiles are also high paying jobs.Almost 80-90% students got placed.but I have no interest in coding, AI, ML I want a job in core. so I am planning for GATE.

Placement Experience:

DTU have a great record of placements in past every year over 2000 students sit for placements and around 80 to 90% of student gets oncampus placements with top recuriters like Google, facebook, Amazon, Codenation, DE-shaw, Uber etc. In 2022-23 highest package was 64 lpa with average package of 15lpa. But due to high competion in college itself a student must have to prepare for placement good enough.

After sem 6 students are eligible for internship and after 7 sem for placement. Microsoft, amazon, google, and Apple all made a very good no of offers to the students in NSUT. The highest package is the international package around 1.2 cr and the average package is around 15 LPA. Around 90% of students are placed according to the criteria made by the placement cell of NSUT. My plan after my degree is just to get placed in a decent company.

Placement Experience:

In this college placement is good enough if you have done a decent study then you are placed in a good package and good company. And if you don't do so study related to placement there are some difficulties in getting placed. There are many on-campus and also off-campus placements that occurred in the current session there is 64 lakh the highest package done. And the average package must be 9 lakh or above. And I also prepare for the placements.
