- It's the college campus which is so eye catching that spending four years here will never be boring for sure.
- Two lovely canteens and luckily it serves non vegetarian food too so as a Bengali I will never die hungry.
Dislikes
- Timings are very odd as we have presentations mostly after 6pm and it goes on till 9-10pm.
Course Curriculum Overview :
CSE core was, is and is the best without any debate and hence me being among the topper at the entrances, it was but obvious for me to chose CSE. All aspects of latest technologies be it AI integration, Digital Marketing, or tech building we are taught all to ensure that there's nothing left in the tank. The difficulty level is indeed quite high as we have to spend 8 hours for classes daily and sometimes even more.
Placement Experience :
Placements are none to best as nearly 100 tech companies among the global tech leaders like Microsoft, Google, Facebook and others have always went hand in hand with VIT-AP. Students have bagged packages worth over 50 lakhs from our campus and median even with 75% placements records is 8 lakhs a year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees is indeed not that high as students who top get an immediate 30% scholarships in their first year fees. This continues for the top 10 students every year and hence hard work is rewarded well here. Besides that, scholarships are available on gender, caste and others.
Campus Life :
Well, VITOPIA happens once in a year which is our mega cultural fest. Besides that too we have Karaoke nights and special events for which celebrities are approached. Gala dinner is organised every semester and likewise many such activities. Never in my life did I saw squash courts but here at VIT-AP we have a couple of top class squash courts besides various other sporting facilities.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are inside the campus and it makes it really easy for me as admin block is right next to the hostel. It takes just a few minutes to reach the classes. Rooms are available from dormitories to single private room. AC and Non AC rooms and students have a variety of rooms to choose from.
Admission :
VITEEE score is the only score which is accepted here. Application forms are available on VIT website and results are also declared there. Yes, the scores vary for general and reserved category students as quite a few seats are reserved for them.
Faculty :
Faculties here are without a debate are the best. All the best faculties available have been brought under one roof to ensure that college produces some of the best engineers. VIT-AP has done it for years now and due credit should be given to its faculties for that.
