Dislikes

  • Placements are not up to the mark. It's more hilarious for non software branches
  • Curriculum is outdated, should add industry demanding cources

Course Curriculum Overview :

As I have opted for Electronic Engineering, the curriculum is very worst and outdated. There's nothing which makes me a trained electronics engineer. We had 2 internal and one University exam per semester.

Internships Opportunities :

They provide academic trainings of AI, ML, Data Science, Verilog etc at the place of internships with fees around 4-5k. I opted for industrial training on my own. Which helped me to understand and experience corporate life. None student get chance to get paid internship.

Placement Experience :

Campus placement is good. Most of the students get 4LPA package. In the class of 75 students, around 30 gets on campus placements. I took place into a semiconductor firm. Other non placed students either option for higher studies, business or government job.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As I was taken admission in government course, I was paying tution fees around 4000rs plus exam fees around 1500 per semester. I was not eligible to avail tution fees scholarship as it was government course. But I took benefit of hostel fees benefit.

Campus Life :

Campus Life was not so good, we had average two technical or cultural events in a year with very boring games and tasks. Very few students took part in those events. They has NSS, NSS and sports to take part apart from the academics. There are many students portals like IEI, IEEE, Google Cloud Students etc.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are hilarious. Girls hostel had very bad management. College never supported us whenever we raised complaints towards their hostel. I shifted to a rented accommodation, which costed me around 40-50k per month.

Admission :

Taken admission from Gujarat ACPC. You should have around 7000 rank to get admission in this course. Admission process was smooth. Semester exam difficulty level is moderate. Which occurs 3 time a semester.

Faculty :

Some faculties are properly qualified for some A++ institutes, but junior faculties have same knowledge as of their students. Not all, but couple of faculties are really very interested in students growth but others are lazy and inactive just like government employees.

The students can seat for placement in 3rd and 4th year. The package starts from 4LPA to 39LPA. If you study well and have the skills then you will definitely get a placement and a decent package. My plans is after btech is to go for post graduation.

Students become eligible for placement in 7th semester don't disclose the specific amount and the company is that offered that amount so I can only give you the idea that in my branch there is maximum placement of 5 lacs and the average package was 4 lacs and the students place were 75 or 76% something my plan for after the degree completion is I studies as I don't think that 5 lakh or 6 lakh is appropriate to sustain in the job
