MIT ADT HONEST REVIEW

Dislikes

  • There is not to dislike but one of the disadvantages is that the colleges is located in the outskirts of Pune

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose btech cse cause I was interested in coding and software development, but here not only do we learn about that but we also have to study the core science subjects like physics and chemistry. This is a drawback and I feel is not (much) relevant to "computer science" but I guess this is how all the courses are made and we have to roll with it. Teaching methods can be a bit full at times that can be improved enhancing interactions. Exams are about 1 - 2 hours long and I feel given that there's about 10-20 questions in an exam it's quite enough time given.

Internships Opportunities :

There's plenty of companies providing us with internships. They are reputed industry leading giants or a few indie startups. Most of the companies providing internship usually give out offer letters at the completion of the same there are companies like TCS Microsoft Nvidia Infosys TechM Mercedes Tata Bosch etc.

Placement Experience :

The placements at this college are pretty average. Average package being 800000. They not only provide placements but also placement training which helps really a lot. Highest package this year was about 6100000 CTC. The alumni is really strong is doing great in their respective fields.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees is totally dependent on ur mcet, jee or the universitys entrance exams score. There is a gradual increase in the fee amount as you go from one semester to another. You also do get scholarship based on your exam performances or financial capabilities. There are over 120 companies that do come for campus placement. Average package being INR 800000.

Campus Life :

As I said earlier the campus life is really a gift here. It's a big and vast campus with advancly developed infrastructure and environment. There are many clubs and sports to be a part of. The cultural fests are really fascinating.

Hostel Facilities :

There are plenty of hostels available for the students a few in campus and a few out campus. Hostels have beds cupboards cleaning wifi watercoolers etc. There's proper security and timely services too. The food is available at 4 messes around the campus average food quality excluding the tuck shop and a restaurant too.

Admission :

I got my admission on the basis of my JEE score card. They have different criterias for the same. As in if you get more than 95 percentile the fees is the least. 90 percentile is a bit higher and below 80 even more and so on. Hated the fact that the admission process takes time is a bit expensive

Faculty :

As I mentioned earlier the faculty here is really calm compelled and understanding. Most of them are Ph.Ds or are pursuing doctorates. The student to teacher ratio is around 60:1 which at times I feel is not very ideal. Their teaching approach is rather simple, they explain the content using a white board then go through the PPTs and finally look out for doubts and questions and top that off with DPPS and assignments. It is effective at times but also you do need get ur hands on the books if you actually want to learn something.

Placement Experience:

Placement is not that good. Overall the average placement is only about 4,00,000 per year. And campus placement are there but it won't provide you high paying jobs you'll have to do that on your own. So focus more on personal skills

Placement Experience:

As I am in second year I don't have that much of idea about the placement but there are very good placements for the printing and intc branch in this college. There I will see near they got the very good packages for this branches and along with CS IT branches they got 40 to 50 lakh packages. Also the college provides the interview sessions and the placement training programs in that the experts come and give training to the students for placement programs. There are various students that are placed in with us countries like Japan Germany's and they are working in ITI and various professions.

Campus placement offered is good for courses surrounding IT domain. Computer and IT department get an average CTC of 10 lpa whereas ENTC dept has avg CTC of 6-7 lpa. The college will state 100% placement but it is applicable only for eligible candidates.

Placement Experience:

I have also got nearly three placements. Currently, I am working in Accenture with a package of 6.5 lpa. I have experienced a decent placement process which was very systematic in that every or each of the students can get placed. For placements, SKNCOE is the best in Maharashtra.
