GITA AUTONOMOUS COLLEGE Overview

Dislikes

  • 1stYr The teachers are less experienced and from different branch; means they are from ece branch teachers but they tought us C language.
  • College don't provide the notification of events as other clg informed to there students. Sports things are available but not in playable manner.

Course Curriculum Overview :

*All over India there is very less faculties are available for the particular subject i.e AI in the top notch institute. * So yes there is lack of teaching in specific course . But the faculties of Our clg definitely help us as far as they can . *Smart board are available but they are not use in programming purposes. * Labs are decent not very new desktop are available and it could be improved. *Exam is quite good but very lengthy days of examination.

Internships Opportunities :

*State internship is available here .If u are from Odisha u get a state scholarship. Scholarship is varies from cast to cast .If u are SC/ST u get 75k & for General u get 20k. And Jindal Scholarship also available where student get 48k per year *If u are from other states like Jk, Bihar, Wb then u have also get the notification of getting the Scholarship. I don't know the exact how much u get that .

Placement Experience :

There was a time when TCS & WIPRO used to come to our college. So that time is the prime time of the college i thought. * Because after when I admission here I don't see any relevant company. * The average package is 200000 per year which is very upset. *And the Highest package currently 4.5Lpa. *The percentage of students getting placement arround 30-40% of the students. *My plan is to get a job in IT sector.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Total fees = Tuition fees + Hostel fees = 1,90,000 per year *Tuition fees are less volatile but yes Hostel fees varies from year to year ( nominal amount 2k to 5k ) * About scholarship for inter-state scholarship are available * The students of Jk,Bihar ,WB also have there scholarships provided by College. Amount of the scholarship varies from cast wise . Arround 20k to 75k. *Campus employment are down day by day . I don't exact reason.Either the crisis in the world the war in Israel and Hamas or the faculties are not so effective to improve the skill of the students.

Campus Life :

*Here annual function are held every year between December to January. Many cultural program are organised here . *Music club, dancing club and gym club are available there. *There are great facilities that other private institutions don't have is here A Beautiful and decent Library is available.

Hostel Facilities :

*Hostel in 1st year is good , always keep maintain. A warden is available to first year .He keep guide the new students what to do . *After 1st year u get another hostel. * Overall hostel facility is good. * Yes there are many rented rooms are available Near by.

Admission :

*It is a Private institute. So no such cut-off are required. * So u can simply type Gita Autonomous Bhubaneswar the first website showed in ur browser. Here u can find the application form, application fees and application dates.

Faculty :

The Faculties are mostly Post graduated. *But they are not much experience to teaches us so smoothly to a grasp level Student. *When we find difficulty or confusion faculties are always there but not more deep concepts. *Overall not too effective faculties are here Some Faculties are done there Phd . * As we are expecting they will make easy to understanding the program but that not true.

Placement Experience:

At our college, students usually start looking for jobs from the 6th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and others visit the campus to hire students. The number of job offers varies each year. The highest and average salaries depend on the company and the job roles they offer. Not all students might get placed, but the college tries to help as many as possible. As for me, after getting my degree, I'll probably look for a job that matches my skills and interests. If that doesn't work out, I might consider further studies or gaining more experience through internships.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario for now it not that good. There is regression going on so the companies aren't taking that many students. From the 3rd year you are eligible for placements. 450 companies came this year for placements making 5200 job offers. The highest placement this year was 63 lacs by Yugabyte. Average CTC is 8.5 lacs in all streams. Mass recruiters like Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Mindtree, Bosch, Ericsson, IBM etc. Many other notable companies that visited are Bain & Company, CME group, DE shaw & co, JP Morgan Chase etc. According to kiit website, 90% students are placed. 2100 students also got internships via capstone route. My plans after getting the degree is to do a job for some years and then after getting some experience I want to do a startup.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Several reputable companies visit, including names like TechCorp and Innovate Solutions, offering diverse roles. The highest package is around 10 LPA, while the average hovers around 5 LPA. Approximately 80% of students secure placements, showcasing the college's commitment to fostering employability. For more comprehensive information on the companies that visit, you can explore the details provided on the official placement page: [Placement Details](https://autonomous.gift.edu.in/placement/). As for my plans, I aim to explore opportunities aligned with my field of study, seeking a role that allows for continuous learning and professional growth. My plans after the degree is to hold a good job placing myself as being capable enough to get placed

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because now days this course is so demandable and this course is very popular in our collage. There no of 60+ faculties are available and no of students will 3000+ in various streams. All the facilities are highly educated and experienced. There are 2semisters in a year. One is odd semister and second one is even semister. And the examination is very strict process.
