- Campus size was very large daily you have to walk for atleast 20 minutes (minimum)
- Attendance schema was strict . Nobody could easily pass out without attending the classes
Dislikes
- Attendance Schema :- on 2023 The local place was influenced by dengue fever on which college never gave any relaxation
- I personally got infected and showing the medical of 1 month the college authorities did not approved any leave
Course Curriculum Overview :
As an demanding era of AI and ML engineers The University held a good command on Data Science field. They organise several visiting faculty from the industry for the future reference or experience. The placement should be approved became as an current student I've heard since last 3 years only sales companies are recruiting. On every 5 months we used to give the term examination which was very strictly invigilatied . No cheating at all
Internships Opportunities :
One of the classmate was doing internship in an MNC as an clod engineer which was not provided by the university. Although internship comes to the university but mostly students do not take as it is not high paying and at the mean time students have to prepare for their upcoming examinations. Projects like thesis writing and some data tasks were assigned
Placement Experience :
Student after successfully completing the 3rd semester are eligible for applying for the placement process Companies like HCL Google have visited offering 10-20 LPA package to the alumni . 60% of the students gets placed usually all they have to do is score on top 10 in their respective section. Me as an student planned a ultimate goal to join mera as a career at US
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fees were moderate comparing to Chandigarh University etc . Moreover University conducts examinations for the entrance every year for the scholarship from which a student can get good relief from the fees. The portal allows us to grab a job in the campus for the hostel students
Campus Life :
Festivals like sunburn freshers celebrities Collab usually occurs every 4th week in the institute. Lots of big faces has visited the college as the Director of the college rolls in ROLLS ROYCE. all the classroom are loaded with Air conditioning units and smart classes using projects and speakers . The whole 800 acres of kush campus has been elctronified . Campus offers multiple indoor stadiums including Olympic size swimming pool, multiple gym for gymrats , huge playground dedicated for all outdoor games. Almost all students get an offer multiple times on every semester to join a social club resulting into high attendance provision and campus recognition etc.
Admission :
Graduation eligibility from an recognised university with an aggregate percentage. All the process of admission could be done from the official website. Including the facilities you want as an student i.e, gym laundry,food,sports,etc. They conduct a huge fete like program for the fresher roll in . Step by step counters are organised in a very informative manner. Especially for the admission they hire hundreds of employees. Hostel availability is less in comparison to the rate of admission., although lots of buildings are in under construction
Faculty :
Mixed faculty was there of every age . As my section was of ~40 students. The faculty to student ratio was good. They used self made PPT's for theory classes Mostly south students were there so usually they speak in English not in Hindi or Punjabi so that students can have a better understanding. Proper one to one project explanation occurs before every class assessment. Moreover viva makes students to learn and understand individual topics.
