Canteen food is unhygienic, discovering worms is a common thing here
Sports equipments are not in a good condition so it's Lil disappointing

Course Curriculum Overview :

The future demand encouraged me to choose this course. Arsd's chemistry department is really good, the labs are fine. Coming to the real life application it can help to prepare yourself for the medicinal values to know what impact it can leave on your health. Class tests are conducted regularly depending on the teachers. Difficulty level depends on your preparation as it's moderate.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 15000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship is available for students depending on their financial condition, fee is reasonable. Examination fee needs to be submitted apart from the tution fee. No other compulsory charges are there. Campus employment can be utilised by participating in the college societies.

Campus Life :

Fests are held usually in month of February, it's called 'Tide' else society fests are conducted side by side regularly depending on their schedule. There are enormous societies which one should be a part of it elevates the over all college life, I highly recommend this. Annual sports day is also conducted and a lot of students participate in it.

Admission :

My cutoff was based on my marks in class 12th. Application form was submitted online in month of June. I availed the benefit of obc caste that didn't helped me much as it gave me benefit of only 2%. So do not depend much on it.

Faculty :

Approachability to teacher is really good, teachers are very polite. Coming to the office, with me the staff experience has been good, library staff is also very polite and soft spoken. Talking about mentorship, regular seminars are conducted which can be helpful for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because in the department of botany our college got 1st rank in all over India. And also botany is the core branch of any biology courses which belongs from plant biology. The frequency of exams was approximately 3 months in a semester. And level of examination was moderate which is pretty good for students.

Through my college days.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very updated and deep. It is almost equal to the btech course. Many papers are the same as the btech syllabus. Better than many other university syllabus. May be a little difficult to catch up if you come from any other streams. Also, they provide a generic elective subject which is helpful for the students to acquire the basics from other streams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I was not sure about whether i should go for physics hons or computer science hons. I thought I should study both so that I can know in which subject I am interested . So this course helped me in that. Also if you are one who wants to pursue career in civil services this can be the one of the ideal courses for that, as it is not that much difficult to study as well you can prerpare for your other exams side by side.

Easy Internship

Placement Experience:

you get eligible for placement in the third year and various companies approach you while you are in the third year provided you have a skillset. The highest package so far is of 25 lakh and the percentage of students getting placement is about 40 percent. My plans are also the same getting a placement and then seeing for further bigger opportunities.

Dyal Singh College one of the best colleges of South Campus, Delhi University

Course Curriculum Overview:

My interest lies in Chemistry. So, I opted for it. The faculty of Dyal Singh College of Chemistry is good, some teachers are phenomenal but there are also some below-average teachers. In the last year, I had found good teachers. The curriculum is not so difficult, you just have to remain regular in classes. You can score good marks in Labs so it will be easier to pass the written exam. The exam happens in a 6-month cycle.
