- The non-teaching faculty were not very cooperative. The administrative tasks always felt like a burden to the students.
- Internships and placements were not offered and no career counselling provided. All the counselling we got was from our friends only.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose my course. Even though I scored 97.4% in Class 12th, I wanted to pursue BBA instead of a BA. However, due to wrong guidance, I ended up enrolling in the BA program. The course curriculum was good. It only focused on theory aspects with little on practical aspects. This approach made the learning experience less engaging. The necessary skills and knowledge applicable in real-world scenarios.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Attending a government college and pursuing a BA was really cheap for me. I paid less than a lakh for the whole degree, and there were no examination fees. Although it was cheap, it didn't add any value or I had the opportunity to upscale myself. There are merit-based scholarships. The quality of education was very good. The courses and teaching methods weren't very good, I spent years studying, but I didn't gain the skills or knowledge for my future career.
Campus Life :
Studying psychology helped me make friends and have fun at college. We always did things together, like us hanging out. But outside of our department, there weren't many activities going on and college faculty really bothered. On the flip side, they get concerned whenever we bring the topic of organizing some event. The college didn't organize a farewell, but thanks to the psychology department. We had a nice farewell. The only good thing was my friends and their friendship. The library is good with good stocks of books.
Admission :
Getting into college was easy for me. I got 97.4%, and the admission was merit-based so I made it to the top of the list. After that, the college got in touch with me to pay the fees, and once I did that, I got my admission. The whole process was simple. I didn't give any interviews or fill out lots of forms. My good marks in school were enough to get me in, and the college helped me through everything.
Faculty :
The teaching faculty was very good. All the teachers helped the student.. People usually think that government college teachers don't really care about their students which is at some context true, but I've never felt like it. The teachers interaction and study approach was moderate, with some very good teachers.
