Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the branch of Electronics and Communications Engineering as I'm interested in the working of chips and processors and would like to put my theory knowledge to application in the core industry of the subject. This course provided me all opportunities to get hold of my skills and improve them continuously.
Internships Opportunities :
The students get eligible for internships from the second year second semester. Most internships do not guarantee a stipend but provides experience and makes the students industry ready. There is also course based projects where students have to make a project related to the subject in each semester .
Placement Experience :
Students in vnr get eligible for placements from the 3rd year. Vnr does pretty well in placements. The highest package was 98 lakhs per annum. The average package ranges between 10 to 12 lakhs per annum. More than 92 percent of the students get placed in the campus placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee is affordable and if a student gets a rank below 10000 in eamcet, he / she is qualified to get full fee reimbursement. The faculty provides scholarships to the students who are in need and also provide laptops for lower cost and train the students for internships from the first year itself
Campus Life :
There are various clubs present in VNRVJIET. One can choose their club of interest by giving an audition. Every club is run by the students for the students. I belong to film making club of vnr which is vj teatro. The college is equipped with a well loaded library
Admission :
I got in via ts eamcet. I opted for ece and the admission process was simple. The concerned faculty dealt in a very calming manner and briefed us about the college and the statistics of past year and advised good things to us
Faculty :
The faculty here use a technique called WIT AND WIL where wit stands for what I'm teaching and is for students which stands for what I'm learning. They constantly ask students if they understand whatever is taught and are always available.
