  • The infrastructure is not good. The infrastructure needs to be improved like by paint or having cleanliness.
  • There is no car parking inside college. Car parking is only for staff members.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have choosen English honours as my course in which I will complete my graduation. Actually from school I have a very good interest in English literature so I choose this course. English literature is a very interesting course that doesn't bore you at all. The curriculum prepared by college is very good . They have their aim to complete course in a very understanding manner. They want syllabus to complete as soon as possible so that student can get time for revision. They not only teach English literature by novel but also teaches literature by movies of the novel. I don't think they need any improvement at all. The consistency of teaching by them is very good. The exams are felt like very easy because of the curriculum made by them.

Internships Opportunities :

I don't know any company because I didn't not fill placement application process but my friends have got placement with a very average package. They offer jobs to different course with different posts according to students potential and their marks

Placement Experience :

From 5th semester students became eligible for placement by college. I don't know companies name who offered jobs and visited. I think 3 lakh per annum is average package. Very few students get placements . I want to become a content writer after graduation.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of the college is like very less compared to other colleges. There is no hike at all in fees of any course in the college. The complete cost my graduation will be around 35k which is very less compared to other colleges. They also provide scholarship to some schedule caste and other caste.

Campus Life :

There are many societies who offered freshers to take part in their societies. There are many societies like driftup, clicks, panghat etc. There are almost every book related to course in our college. Sports faculty is very good. There are sports like volleyball, kabaddi, cricket, etc.

Admission :

I think my eligibility for this course has been taken form my 12th marks of English that is 88/100 but I have eligible for this course of English honours by giving cuet entrance test. you can find form on cuet official website. The cuet staff will guide you everything about admission process and after college appointed then the college staff will contact you. I don't have something to suggest for improvement in admission process because it is very smooth.

Faculty :

Faculty of the college is very excellent. Teachers are also very good in engaging with students. All teachers are well qualified from their subjects. They are specialised from their subjects. Faculty of the college approaches every student of the batch to reach them everything possible so that none of the student miss anything. If some student wants to ask professor apart from college time then professors interact with students as early as possible. If students didn't understood some topic in class then professors engage online classes after college time . Overall faculty of our college is very helpful and excellent. They have so much of experience. One of our professor has got opportunity to teach in Oxford University. Faculty is very excellent and helpful.

Other Applied Colleges

Kirori Mal College - [KMC] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Political Science)

Because I didn't get enough marks in cuet to take admission in this college.

Placement Experience:

Sri Venkateswara College provides placements for Science and Commerce Students, not for BA Students. The college has a good record in the placement cell. I am an Arts student so I don't have any placement. So I choose UPSC as my career option. I will try until I succeed.

Placement cells do not provide placements to English graduates. Only a few companies came to hire English graduates. I'm planning to do a master's or B.Ed to secure a career in teaching after my graduation.

Remarks:

The college is good and faculty teacher is very helpful and the canteen is great. The playground is very big and clean. College has many societies. Admission process is merit based and first cum basis.

Admission:

No, because my admission merit based and my performance and sc quota so I can't face any group discussion, interview, or written tests. My result calculation is sufficient to get admission.

Remarks:

The college is excellent when it comes to academic excellence though it lacks a bit in infrastructure and placements.

Admission:

After giving my 12th class board exams I was looking at potential places to do my graduation from and Delhi University and Jamia millia islamia were on the top of my list due to their reputation and excellent national rankings. I ended up choosing jamia because it had the reputation for being very academics oriented and having a sincere student body. The fact that jamia has an entrance exam was also a draw for me as it ensured my peers were selected on the basis of stiff competition ensuring I got the best environment to pursue my academics.Jamia conducts its entrance exam around june-july with admissions taking place in august. The admission process is pretty straightforward and most of the process such as registration and payment of fees is online. The final registration is done in person in the university itself. Original documents such as 10th and 12th marksheets are required as well as character certificate and school leaving certificate. The list of required documents is available on the university website.
