College Environment is pretty good and the internal professor were very helpful in nature.

Dislikes

College has no own hostel either for girls or boys.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Our college IT department have good fair placement record till the last year. As we see the market is so low in terms for hiring as a fresher. So this may be a cause of low placement record in this year.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 650000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

When we join the college our fees is 3.93 lakh per annum as i am in final year so i don't know exactly about current fee structure in our college but approx it is 6.5 lakh to 7 lakh per annum (perhaps). Scholarship is available in our college and one more thing is that if anyone's earning person is no more during course time they will not taken fee from you to the left of the semester.

Campus Life :

My overall experience is good enough but till now i didn't get any placement. Infrastructure is good enough but college campus is very very compact size. Club involvement is good as we enjoy sports club, cultural club or any other club which we enjoy the most.

Admission :

In my college the admission is on from giving entrance exam like WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) and JEE ( Joint Entrance Examination). In my time, in wbjee you have to score 7k-10k rank in wbjee to get admission in CSE or IT dept.

Faculty :

In Information Technology Department in our college is very skillful and helpful in nature. As a role of mentor they also provide good project and helping you in every thick and thin. My department professor is writing on his own on DSA.

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.
