Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is well structured and the curriculum that is being followed this year was prepared and implemented in 2021. So the course is comprehensive and up to date. There are three exams and difficulty level is moderate and with basic understanding of the the topics one can score good marks. The student is well prepared for job or higher education when he/she graduates.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship can be availed from the faculty or external companies and students are selected according to their skills and the requirements of the internship and students gain real world applications of what they study through projects.

Placement Experience :

Many MNC's visit the college for campus recruitment and students are given a choice of whether to apply for jobs or apply for higher education and guided accordingly. Big companies like Oracle , Amazon , Microsoft visit the college and since the campus recruitment is central students from all the campus get equal opportunity.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is divided into five categories and students can choose their course and fees and they are given preference using the entrance exam rank. I have ECM in 2nd category which means my yearly fees is 300000. The lowest fee category is 200000 and highest is 500000. The top 10 scorers in the entrance exam recieve scholarships.

Campus Life :

Annual cultural fest is Vibrance and annual tech fest is Technovit and they are held in March and October respectively. The books and journals are regularly updated in the virtual and physical library and the updates are emailed to all the students. Students are encouraged to play sports and all students can utilise their free time and play any sport that is available. Projector is installed in all classrooms and faculty use them wisely to teach the students. There are many technical and recreational clubs and students get extra credits for working for the clubs.

Admission :

The application from and the documents required for the exam are all available in the official website. Application fees is Rs.1000. The exam is conducted annually. The admission process is very smooth and very well directed by the management

Faculty :

Faculty are friendly and approachable and very helpful. They are highly qualified teachers from various NIT's and IIT's. Faculty can be approached in their cabins on their free time or we can approach them through WhatsApp.

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
