It provides various courses, among which M.Sc. Nuclear Medicine Technology is one of this. I
This course is AERB approved and one of the highest demanding fields in present scenario.

Dislikes

There are very few things to be disliked, but yeah Infrastructure wise, it is needed to be prepared.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course is definitely one of the very few courses in India and its importance can be felt right now in the market, when you complete your degree. It is one of the highest paying field in any Non clinical branches, and there are very few professionals available in the field which also gives a reason to choose this field.

Class Size : 13Course Fees : INR 905 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

You will be shocked to know the course fee for 2 year programme. It is way less than buying a shoes. Yeah, the total course fee for 2 years is around 905/- Rs. With this much amount you get the opportunity to study the course. There are various scholarships are also available which are availed by the institute time to time.

Campus Life :

AIIMS Delhi is itself famous for its one of the most excited and awaited college fest, which is PULSE. Library is one of its kind in the whole country with hundreds of journals. Classes are conducted in the seminar room with well equipped projectors. There are various sports events conducted in the colleges and many extracurricular activities are offered. There are various associations in the college like Student Association, Resident Doctors Association & Society of Young Scientist and with a span of an year, there are various programmes are arranged as well as many Conferences are organized.

Admission :

Eligibility : B.Sc Radiography/B.Sc Physics/B.Sc Life Sciences The forms are available on the website of the AIIMS and fee for the form is around 1500/-. There are few seats for reservations. Exam is conducted once in an year.4

Faculty :

There are 13 students selected from all over the India and each student has to do their Thesis in order to complete their Post Graduation. For Thesis, each student is alloted a Guide and Co Guides. At present there are 8 Faculty Present in the department and 5 Medical Physicists are available. Each of them are Research oriented and so thorough with the subject. A Medical Physics faculty is present and 7 Clinical Faculties are available. They all are so well versed with the applications of Nuclear Medicine in Patient Care simultaneously, you can get the opportunity to learn about Research work. Faculties are so approachable and inclined to teach you about the subjects. You will get Hands on experience on the top class modalities among the India, and one them is Medical Cyclotron, which is very few at present in any academic Institute.

One can download the prospectus at www.aiims.ac.in for update changes. the course has theoretical and practical classes along with clinical posting. adequate professors are there to solve questions. exams are on an early basis main exam at the end of 2 years.
