CBIT IN AND OUT (A Tale of Dreams and Disappointments.)

Dislikes

  • Teachers .... Some of them are good , but mostly they are so harsh ... They will insult you in front of everyone for very small mistakes , which is very saddening ..
  • Fests .... Probably one of the worst fests in hyderabad ... Fest goes on for five days , 2 days technical , and three days cultural .... I will not tell how it is , it is worse than your imaginations

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very good. it is upto date. The only problem is in the 1st year, there are unnecessary subjects like physics, chemistry, and basic electrical engineering, except the rest is fine. The exams are conducted on time.

Internships Opportunities :

There are very less internship opportunities. Mostly the stipend of them is around 10k per month. These internship opportunities are mostly for Cse students. For other students like Civil, EEE, ECE, MECH , they are much less

Placement Experience :

Campus placements are decent. Top companies like Microsoft and Jp Morgan visit here, but they give very less offers. Most of the students are placed in mass recruiters like TCS, Accenture , Capgemini, For a salary of around 3.5 Lakhs per annum

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee is to be paid yearly. There are many scholarships for caste reservation candidates, for candidates studied in government inter colleges, etc. fees are quite reasonable and justified for the services they are providing.

Campus Life :

Many clubs are there. Around 45 clubs, but only 10 of them make sense. Campus life is decent, it depends on you, if you're an extrovert, you are going to enjoy it, if not, you are going to suffer. Infrastructure is a bit old, as it is a 45-year-old college, but it shouldn't be a problem. The library is good.

Admission :

Admission can be through Ts Eamcet and Jee mains, In Ts eamcet the candidates with reservations are fairly benefitted, and can easily get admission if they secure a rank of around 1 lakh. Through Jee Mains caste reservation is not considered.

Faculty :

Faculty to the student ratio is good, even if your faculty is absent, another faculty will come in their place. some of the faculty are good at subjects, they're friendly, but most of them are weak at subjects. But they try to help us in all possible;e ways.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I think that most of us the course curriculum was outdated as it is older than the birth of the students According to my understanding I suggest you to update the curriculum based on the current technology and advancement in the industry requirements

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is the old not updated overall since decades many subjects are included which are not practiced in real world. Theory subjects should be removed and practical coding subjects should be included which covers the real world applications.

There will be several placement drives conducted each year. Many students get placements through these drives. If not can get jobs off campus with good gpa of 7-10 in graduation. Can also go further higher studies if interested.

Remarks:

On my personal experience, I would say that college is very strict and they have closed gate that is not accpectable. Even they will not permit you to leave the campus without the permission from the required faculty.
