Remarks :

The college is not very kind to people with medical conditions and more sympathy would be appreciated.

Entrance Preview :

I took the standard NIFT entrance exam wherein I cleared both the first and second round and ended up with a rank of around 700 i got into Pearl, Delhi after an exam an interview as well but chose NIFT because of parental concerns and the faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course of the Foundation year, which is the same for all departments is apt according to me since it covers subjects like Fashion Orinetation, Geometry, Visual Representation, Art History and basic softwares.Most of the faculties are NIFT Alumnis and are closer to our age which makes the classes fun they know what they are teaching and most of them have industry experience which makes their teachings even more interesting since it has real life experiences.

Internships Opportunities :

Haven't been on an internship yet.

Placement Experience :

The placement opportunities in NIFT are pretty good but I've been told that the best students get the top jobs and the others end up with low paying ones.

College Events :

We have an annual NIFT Festival each year which is supposedly pretty big.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees is way more than it should be the mess food is alright.

Campus Life :

The campus life in NIFT is pretty good since there are a lot of clubs and activities happening at the same time not suprisingly, most of the students are girls the labs are pretty good the sport amenities are not really upto the mark.

Alumni/Alumna :

The seniors are pretty good and no ragging has happened, yet they're helping.

My Journey at NIFT Hyderabad

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was relevant which has further improved manifold recently adding a range of subjects like those related to physical and mental fitness, AI, machine learning etc and during internships we are supposed to do projects which integrates the knowledge of these subjects to solve industrial problems. The curriculum is semester based with exams at an interval of every 6 months.

Sneak peak into nift life

Placement Experience:

Placement are okay. People do get placed here, but the frequency and the packages are low. If one has acquired talent to go off campus, the chances are good. Personally, I will myself go for campus placement, hoping for good package.

Remarks:

I could say it's the best college in Hyderabad to take up the design courses.
