Course Curriculum Overview :

The resason i took up my course is because it is an intresting feild and right now its high in demeand. Coming to the curriculum yes its relative to the current industry . The syllabus changes every 2 years . I wish there were more practial labs than theory .

Internships Opportunities :

We get internship offers from 3rd sem Companies like Salesforce, Servicenow, Providence and many come for internship . The role is SWE or software analysist. Many times students get PPos . stiped varies from company to company

Placement Experience :

In 3rd sem companies come for summer internship In 4th year or 3rd year ending companies come to hire for full time Many companies visit including salesforce, barclays, servicenow etc. average package is around 9LPA

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tuition fees right now for my batch is 1,60,000. This differs every batch . For end term exam we have to pay 2200 again. There are scholarships for students who wants financial aid. Campus employment is good .

Campus Life :

CBIT has 2 major event. Shruthi - the cultural fest, Suddhi- techinal fest. They generally happen during march for 5 days or a week max There are many clubs too We do have a library which is huge and has alot of books.

Admission :

So you can join cbit in 3 ways 1. Through EAMCET 2. B category seat 3. Paid seat I have joined through Eamcet which is an entrance exam for state colleges. To get into cbit u have to score less than 10000 to get into cse score should be less than 5k.

Faculty :

Almost all the faculty has a PHD degree , coming to the faculty and student ration its 1:70. I feel this ratio is better compared to other colleges in the state. we have mentoring sessions every week where we can discuess an issues with the faculty.

Other Applied Colleges

Vellore Institute of Technology - [VIT University] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

The number of students and the placements are better in cbit than vit

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I think that most of us the course curriculum was outdated as it is older than the birth of the students According to my understanding I suggest you to update the curriculum based on the current technology and advancement in the industry requirements

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is the old not updated overall since decades many subjects are included which are not practiced in real world. Theory subjects should be removed and practical coding subjects should be included which covers the real world applications.

There will be several placement drives conducted each year. Many students get placements through these drives. If not can get jobs off campus with good gpa of 7-10 in graduation. Can also go further higher studies if interested.

Remarks:

On my personal experience, I would say that college is very strict and they have closed gate that is not accpectable. Even they will not permit you to leave the campus without the permission from the required faculty.
