Course Curriculum Overview :

this fashion technology course is similar to other B . Tech engineering courses. we have a total of 8 semesters in that for each semester we have 3 internal exams , model exam , model practical and final exams that is the semester examination. subject staffs will teach each of the subjects which have five units in them in eight to nine periodic subject hours. still the syllabus need to be improved because this syllabi has more textile related content that fashion streamed subjects. now the staffs are processing with the syllabi. sooner it will be changed

Class Size : 14Course Fees : INR 65000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

the fee structures are also similar to the other engineering courses . for centac based students, the fee is 65000rs. for management based students, it is 90000rs. inspite of that, we have transportation fee (only for those who travel through college bus) , book fee, breakage fee , laboratory fee , maintenece fee etc.. there is no donations fees for this course. and schlorships or financial aids are accepted in this college.

Campus Life :

I had a very good campus life experience with my staffs and friends. events like technical lectures , motivational programmes, culture developmental programme etc.. will be conducted. there will be a cultural event once in four year. there are fewer books and journal collections available for fashion technology department in the library. we have ideal lab which has all kind of tools and equipments were students with unique projetcs ideas will be potraited. there is a huge ground for sports and extra curricular activities in campus. we have social clubs , social groups and socoal media account to address our fashion technology department.

Admission :

For this fashion course , anyone students who completed 12th successfully can enroll to this course that is students with biology , computer science , commerce etc main streams can apply to this course. one can find the application form , fee details , application dates etc in smvec official website itself. reservation seat process are also applicable in this college.

Faculty :

in fashion technology department, we have very friendly and polite staffs . we don't hesitate to ask doubts to them. they speak with us in a friendly manner. but yet , the number of faculty members are lesser. only three staffs are there in our department. yet they guide us well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of my course is pretty easy to cope up with , so that u get more time to prepare for other exams. Curriculum is prepared in such a way that it makes u ready to appear for gate and other similar exams. Provide more technical knowlegde related to subjects mentioned in the gate syllabus. There are 2 class test exams and then one final semester exam.

National institute - advantages and disadvantages

Placement Experience:

The college gives good placements for mostly all of the branches and you can get an average package of 12 lakh per annum. Getting a placement in civil might be difficult unless you study hard and do some good internships. Mechanical and computer science has good placements compared to other branches
