IHM Mumbai has one of the best faculty compared to any other catering colleges. All the professors are very friendly and go extra mile to help the students
Senior IHM Mumbai has best senior. There are no case of ranging in last five years. Seniors and juniors share a very deep bond and are alike family

Principal is a drug addict and take all the decisions when he is high. He ensures to make happy college life into living hell and he enjoys this
Attendance , it is mandatory to maintain 75 percent attendance and if not you will not be permitted to appear for exam . Even if you have valid reason for less attendance you won't be permitted

Course Curriculum Overview :

First of all the vurivulam is dividen into four core subjects housekeeping, front office , kitchen, food and beverage sevices. Each exam has 3 hour for 60 marks this makes it look easy since we have always given exam of 80 marks in 3 hours but it is very difficult compared to other exam as unlike other exam you can not mug up things and go you have to be innovative and cunstruct your answer on the practical knowledge you have

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

In the intensip you get a minimal package of 1000 - 5000 and they will make you work like a construction worker 12 hous 18 hours and what not as for the job if you get mt position your life is settled you will get 30000 per month and growth is also good

Placement Experience :

Cam pus place ment ihn IHM Mumbai is very great 90 percent of people get placed through campus placement with a salary range of 2.4- 3.5 lakhs per annum. I know this is very small salary but growth in this industry is very high

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Total fee to complete this degree is around 4-5 lakhs for 3 years including tution fee,service fee exam fee etc , unfortunately there are no scolersips for open candidates. But there are job opportunities on capus there is a hotel owed by college the you can get job as a part timer

Campus Life :

Capus life is very great in IHM Mumbai as all the students come from diffrent parts of world it is very fun to mix with them and get experience of variety of culture, but the infrastructure is very poor we have 2 buildings which might collapse at any movement we are in constant fear that building might fall so I have sinsier reques get an life insurance before commiig to IHM Mumbai

Hostel Facilities :

Hotel of IHM Mumbai is like very cheap Oyo degraded version at that you will be thrown into a small room with othe two people where you only have space to move towards door and have a bed cubbard and a table do not fall for trap of hostel take a room outside which is close to IHM Mumbai you will live more happily

Hostel Fee : INR 120000 per year

Admission :

To enter in the college there is an exam called nchmct jee it is an online MCQ test of 200 questions r for right and -1 for wrong answer. .frankly this exam is not that difficult it take 1or maximum 2 weeks of study to crack the exam you need to get above 1000 rank for open to get in IHM Mumbai

Faculty :

Teaching is top notch in IHM Mumbai as it's name prisodes. Faculty try to focus on each child and to bring the most potential out of them.we are free to meet the faculty any time even if the faculty is out on leave we have an option of contacting them by email or through telephone

Campus placements arent like any other college.. students go through rigorous interviews to get placed into hotels for management trainess. These management trainess then work under all the departments of the hotel for over 18 months and then decide where they would work in that hotel. HA better understanding

Placement Experience:

Students mostly becomes eligible to give campus interviews in their 5th semester and there are a lot of companies comes in our college we can its one of the best IHM for placement in whole india . All great hotel properties like marriot , hilton , ITC , Taj , oberios are constantly recruiting students from college in a daily basis they placement percentage here is almost 100%, the highest package provided by sales company this year is around 8lakhs per anuum for a HR role whoch is significantly great and for within the hotel industry it varies from 25k-30k per month which is not bad as rewards come after some years of experience, I personally want to get into oberio OCLD programs and want to train myself to be in a manegerial position soon and start my own business.

the campus placements starts from 5th semester . the compinies visited have very good name in the industry . the mostly visit are taj, hyatt, oberoi, starbucks, marriot , novotel, ITC , etc . these big brands comr=e to collage to pick up their employee. the highest package is 800000 . 85% of the students get placed by collage . i am planning to do msc in hotel managment to improve the skills even more .

Placement Experience:

After the third semester, students are further sended for campus placements. Hotels such as Taj mahal palace, The Oberoi group, Trident Nariman point, sofitel bkc, among with other properties, all the 5star properties come to approach our college for interviewing the eligible students. I'm not yet aware of the packages, but roughly, it should be 10k during internship. 100% placement is given to every eligible student. Want to work for the Oberoi group.
