The thing I liked the most about haldia institute of technology is that the campus is located at a very peaceful area where their is no crowd no traffic nothing. The environment near the campus is so peaceful. Near the college distraction level is 0
Secondly the thing I like the most about the college is it's campus. The campus of haldia institute of technology is so good and neat and clean. The environment inside the campus is so relaxing. The campus is so large

Dislikes

The weather of haldia is so bad that it makes out day classes worse.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The thing influenced me to choose this course was my passion towards the gadget and their functioning. And I wanted to learn these function from basic and the teacher teaches the subject so well that it is very much easy for students like us to understand it.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 525300 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There is so many internship opportunities available in our college. I was currently doing an internship in India oil petronss pvt limited which was given to me through college. Haldia institute of technology all mange some training classes for students for add on skill

Placement Experience :

There is almost 95% placement. Till the end of 4th year, faculties make sure that every children should get placed and try the level best to place each and every student in good companies, except the one who is interested in higher studies

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

My total fee for the course is near about 5.2 lakh which is not much. And every year this. Fee structure keeps on increasing by 5%. And this fee structure includes my all 8 semester tution fee, development fee, gym, yoga center and hostel. There is no specific scholarship for all the students but the student who comes first in the department in semester exam gets a scholarship of 100% , which means the one who is the topper of the class have not to pay a single penny for the next semester fees, the fee will all be paid by thd college itself

Campus Life :

This campus is overall so good and classy and the vibe inside the campus is so positive. The best thing about this college is it's technical fest named prayukti and cultural fest named as riviera. And my experience with this college very goof

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is quite good and so much eco friendly and the best thing about my hostel Is that it has it's own mess where the staffs are so much friendly and humble, it has it's own common room where we can play carrom, tennis ball and chess. There is total three girls hostel and seven boys hostel in total there is 10 hostel inside the csmpus

Hostel Fee : INR 12000 per year

Admission :

The admission process was so smooth and easy, you just have to clear wbjee exam and through which you can get direct admission in this college. There is cutoff for defferent defferent department for example for CSE your rank should be under 5k and for ECE your rank should be under 12k and for specialization of CSE your rank should be under 8k

Faculty :

The faculty members of haldia institute of technology are so good and cooperative, most of them did PHD and some of them are doing PhD. The way they teaches us is so good and productive. Everything taught by them is easy to understand and remember. Their way or mentoring us and guiding us is just phenomenal

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Seeing stcet again through my eyes

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.
