Course Curriculum Overview :
Applied Electronic and Instrumentation Engineering (AEIE) curricula typically cover a wide range of topics, including digital and analog electronics, communication systems, signal processing, electromagnetic theory, and more. In terms of relevance, a well-designed AEIE curriculum should reflect the latest advancements and trends in the field, preparing students for current and future industry demands. It should include foundational concepts as well as emerging technologies, such as wireless communication, Internet of Things (IoT), and digital signal processing.
Internships Opportunities :
I have talked to few super seniors and they said that the college starts giving internship opportunities from the starting or mid of third year. And we are eligible for placement after third year is completed.
Placement Experience :
The Placement of the college is going fine till now. Many companies have visited the college having similar criteria like above 7.5 CGPA and no active backlogs offering a decent package of 4 to 6 lakhs per annum for Btech students and 6 to 7 lakhs for Mtech students.
Fees and Financial Aid :
During the time of admission, the took 72000 for 1st semester and from second semester onwards the fees vary between 44000 to 47000 per semester. They also take an exam fees if 1000 rupees before every semester exam and 1200 rupees for backlog papers. I have no knowledge about the scholarship as I have not availed.
Campus Life :
The campus of the college is nice. It has good greenery and 3 sports ground where we play football or cricket during breaks or after college. There are many clubs to join. Most of them are active. My notable mentions are Flyers club (Aeronautics) , GDSC club , and Anubhab (Drama ) club .
Admission :
I get there through wbjee examination securing 12162 rank . Then , I went through the counseling process conducted by the West Bengal joint entrance board . The maximum cutoff for this branch was around 25k .
Faculty :
Most of the faculties are highly educated and very helpful. But there will always be an exception , few faculty teacher are not upto the mark , like they have high qualification but they are unable to express the things properly.
