Faculties are friendly, lab assistants are always ready to help students and campus has lots of tree
There are good maintained gardens with stone benches to enjoy the nature

Roads to the are still under work so it takes more time to reach the college
No ncc for students and physical education classes for engineering students

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum will be regularly updated according to the requirements of industries. The curriculum is designed in such a way that no technological gap between the students and industries. Due to autonomous college, it is easy to keep up with the new technology.

Class Size : 108Course Fees : INR 65000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee for the course is 65000 with including any other external fees. For a year 65000 thousand plus ethono tech fees of 5500 to develop extra skills in related field. Plus bus fees come to around 18000 to 25000 for a year.

Campus Life :

There are student chapters like the American Society of materials and SAE(Southern automotive engineering) student clubs which are clubs related to national and international levels. Inside the college, there are 3d printing clubs by mechanical and others are available that are related to their engineering field

Admission :

I entered through Centac which is for specially pondicherry students for an 80 Percent mark was required at that time. The admission process was very easy and a quick process which just took around 20 to 40 minutes

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of my course is pretty easy to cope up with , so that u get more time to prepare for other exams. Curriculum is prepared in such a way that it makes u ready to appear for gate and other similar exams. Provide more technical knowlegde related to subjects mentioned in the gate syllabus. There are 2 class test exams and then one final semester exam.

National institute - advantages and disadvantages

Placement Experience:

The college gives good placements for mostly all of the branches and you can get an average package of 12 lakh per annum. Getting a placement in civil might be difficult unless you study hard and do some good internships. Mechanical and computer science has good placements compared to other branches
