Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum at Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College for B.Tech in Computer Science is through , covering important topics needed in the industry. It helps prepare student for real-world applicants and future studies. However , adding more practical projects and working with companies could make it even better . The exams held twice before semester exams, are great for one to prepare for Final Semesters.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 493124 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The college offers numerous internship opportunities starting from final year, with conmpanies selecting candidates through their recrutment process. Successful internships often lead to PPO's. In undertook an internship opportunity just before my final year , where i worked on impactful projects that provide invaluable insights into current technologies . Overall , my internship significantly contributed to my skill development and carrer readliness.

Placement Experience :

Campus placements though slightly affected by the global recession , were exemplary before the turndown. Many students were placed according to thier braches , with average package of 4-5 LPA and the highest package reaching 34 LPA this year. Eligibility for placement begins in the final year with numerous companies visiting annualy . Despite the recession , 60% of the students secured placement while others pursued further studies and other stuffs. Personally aiming for a job post graduation.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee Structure for B.tech Computer Science : 1st Year: 141856, 2nd year:119556,3rd Year:116056,4th Year:115656. These are then academic fees structure. Scholarships are available for EWS section granted by AKTU. The tution fees however decreases from 1st to 4th year. The complete cost of education for B.Tech depends on various factors . However for a general idea , it will vary form 8-10 Lakhs for entire B.tech.

Campus Life :

The college lisfe is fantastic , enriched with diverse clubs focusing on emerging technologies . Despite the recent absense of technical fests due to pandemic , regular events like Freshers , Farewells are well organised . The library offers abundant resources for deeper learning , complemented by smart boards in every classrooms. Participation in state -level sports and extracurricular activities significantly to overall growth.

Admission :

The admission process was happened through UPSEE-2020. However now , it happens through JEE Mains Score. The cutoff was fairly good for Cmputer Science branch. One is eligible if he/she got more than 60% marks in 12th . There are reservation benefits given to OBC,EWS,SC/ST students. The frequency of exams is twice per semester before semester. The timing post Covid has shifted slightly more but still it is fair enough to prepare well. For me it is great.

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is decent highest package was 30 lac per annum and average is 6-7 lac per annum....From 6th semester u are eligible for the campus placements.... companies that visited are- IBM, TCS,etc I just don't remember now there are many... percent of students getting placements are near about 80% i guess

The placement is very good in my college. From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Mahindra etc do visit my college. Best college for developing startup skills

Remarks:

The best part of this college is that it has an incubation centre which is governed by the DST government of India to promote new innovative ideas and mould the incubator to start there startup and became an entrepreneur.

Admission:

I always want to become a mechanical engineer because innovation and technology attracts me.
