Remarks :
The college is superb. I miss it. I feel like living one more life there.
Entrance Preview :
The city is beautiful in which the college is situated that is Chandigarh and there are so many successful celebs and crickets who passed out from this college. This college has a maximum potential of talent and extraordinary skills. So many successful organizations have developed from it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course was tremendously functioning. Teachers were amazing. English professors were really stupendous and having their maximum interest in their subject as well as to pass the same knowledge to us. The books include novels of Shakespeare. I'll say the overall course was great.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, they do. But I have not been in the college after bachelor of arts as I did not continue studies afterward so I have basically no clue
Placement Experience :
They're good far as I have heard from my seniors. But I have not been a part so I have no idea about the job and placement opportunities. Just the seniors have told us that it's quite good and is based on your overall marks in subjects and degree you have done.
College Events :
College events were the best part. Every festival has been celebrated beautifully and with pomp and show. There is so much talent in this college that everyone would take part with great enthusiasm. I loved the functions and events. Personally, I never missed any of them.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Very feasible. There are quotas available for people of sc st obc or who are into sports. Even international students are part of this college. Fee-structure is not an issue if one wants admission. Just good marks are necessary. Rest all is good. :)
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarships are for the merit students. Yes, they are available if you're not failing to score really good in all your subjects.
Campus Life :
I would say the day Chandigarh campus life is amazing to live in. The lab's sports facilities everything is superb. Competitions are being held from time to time. Debates are there too. Overall, everything a student requires is there and they're pretty good.
Hostel Facilities :
I will not rate it well. I have been in a pg but far as I have heard the hostel food is average only. The students were not happy with the food they usually come to the canteen to eat their breakfast lunch and dinner. Rest I have not much idea about hostel food.
Alumni/Alumna :
No idea. But I have seen some alumni taking place with great enthusiasm and energy. Amazing performances were given too.
Exam Structure :
Very strict. Seating arrangements were in such a manner that you cannot cheat. One has to be fully prepared because of the tight supervision in the exam hall. The exam structure is made confusing deliberately so that there is a fear of passing in students' heart.
Admission :
I wanted to be a part of english honors. It was completely based on my percentage and marks i acquired in school. Then the entrance in english honors was based on my marks in english subjects in first year of freshman year. If the marks exceed 60%, then you get into honors.
Faculty :
Amazing. They were all supporting. All the subject teachers were highly educated. All Ph.D. holders were there. A lot to learn from them and some of them have written books on their respective subjects which were highly inspiring for us. Great faulty, I must say.
