  • Extremely disappointing faculties who doesnt have the basic knowledge of the new curriculum.
  • Lack of proper infrastructure and super speciality facilities

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is extremely hectic and not in respect to the time period of the course. The idea of learning about human body alwasy fascinated me.New curriculum was introduced midway between our course by KUHS which was absolutely stubborn. CBME curriculum is very efficient in framing good doctors but none of the faculties knows how to implement it.The exams are held every year. They are difficcult to pass if not well prepared with all the concepts. The new curriculum even makes it more difficcult.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship is cumolsory and should be done in the same college itself. There is no scheme of campus placements in MBBS course.Doctors are expected to provide high quality patient care woth empathy. We will be assigned duties in every department.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The course fees in Rs 25000 per year. In addition to that exam fees is also charged depending on the number of subjects.Hostel fees is Rs.500 per month and mess fees is Rs.2500.Scholorships are available for low annual incone students only. After passing final year we will undergoe a one year cumpolsory internship with a very low stipend of Rs.25k per month with contiuous 48+ hrs shifts of work.

Campus Life :

The college has good infrastructure for sports invluding volleyball court indoor badminton court table tennis cricket etc..Arts events are also happening full fledged within the college.Clubs are not active within our college except for Ashraya palliative care. A very good library is an asset of our college. All classrooms have a projector. Intermedicos sports and arts festivals are held every year by university and also various colleges.

Hostel Facilities :

The room is four sharing with single beds. Rooms are spacious. We have common bathrooms. Hostel menu is good and quality of food depends on the cook.Hostel facility is provided for all the students who opt for it.

Admission :

Admission was via NEET entrance exam and bio maths in twelfth was the eligibility criteria with 50% or more in those subjects.Application for the exam was through NMC portal.Application fess was around Rs.2500.The exams are held once every year in may.The exam is not really difficcult. Its conpletely based on 11th and 12th syllabus. Now around 25 lakh students are writing the exam every year. The admission process should be more efficient.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is too heavy and there is lot to learn . Since it is based on helping people I chose this course. And the curriculum is set in such away that we were trained to face health problems in real world in real time. The final year time duration can be increased since there are 6 subjects which are too hard. There will be 3 internal assessment in which total of no less 40 percent should be scored in both theory and practical only then you will be permitted to write the University Exams.

Our curriculum is mainly focussing on academics . There is also sports and arts including competition but they are not supporting the students. The question paper difficulty is of moderate type and can pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We were brought into the new CBME curriculum. Even the faculty finds it hard to comply with as it is a new system. There are a lot of small group discussions and self directed learning programmes that consider the teacher as just a facilitator and students are meant to learn with the guidance of the facilitator.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is very esteemed profession and we have the lives of people in our hands. Curriculum very well prepares us for real world applications if we put effort from our side too. Faculties need to be more student friendly though.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Why MBBS because it has been my dream since of I was kid and I’m glad that I made it this far. Each batch in my college have 250 students and for every 25 students one faculty would be given as mentor, whom we can approach for any of queries. Apart from that practical and clinical postings are really fascinating. We would have year exams as to qualify each year, and a few internal exams every 2-3 months. And these exams I wouldn’t put it too tough that we have to give our 100% of time for only studies but nor too easy. If we put a moderate effort for studies we are soo good to go.
