- Attendance is must here. You have to go to college in 4th year also.
- Course curriculum is very old. It needs to be updated
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is good but it needs improvement in adding new and latest technologies to the subjects. However, the teachers are very good and supportive. They teach their subjects honestly to the students
Internships Opportunities :
Many companies visit our college for providing internships as well as full-time offers to the students. Newgen provided internships to the students for 6 months at 15000 per month to the students. The stipend that all the companies offer is around 20000 per month. Companies take you on the basis of aptitude and coding tests along with an interview.
Placement Experience :
Placements are not so good in my college this year but in the last year it was good. Many big companies like Amazon, Accenture, TCS, Infosys etc companies visit our college for campus placements every year. Accenture this year offered almost 120 offers to the students at 4.5LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees is different for all the year students. The latest fee structure can be downloaded from the Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College website. Fees of first year is approx 140000 out of which 20000 is security money which will be refunded after college. Fees for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year is approx 120000 each.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is not the best here but it's ok type. There is not any annual fest or something like that. However we celebrate many festivals such as holi, diwali, kite flying, independence day etc. in our college. There are many clubs and societies in which you can take part for improving yourself in different fields.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostal facility is given to all the students. However it is on you that you take it or not. However the hostel fees are high. In 1st year hostel food and everything is very good. But in 2nd and 3rd year hostels food isn't as good. You have to apply for hostels at the beginning of the session.
Admission :
At the time of admission I got admission here through counselling from AKTU. There was an exam conducted by UPSEE for admission to all the colleges which comes under AKTU. But now the counselling is done through JEE marks or through class 12th percentage.
