Course Curriculum Overview :

CBME based curriculum is a bit hectic with many logbook and record .But the introduction of aetcom session and vertical integration programmes seems to be great step ahead.3 internals are their in a year apart from the university exam .Internal marks are just qualification for writing the university. But also their are many small endposting exams too.Real world experience though it can be gained during posting maximum will be attained during internship period.

Internships Opportunities :

Medical college doesn't provide any placement but a compulsory rotatatory internship must be completed in every department to get the permanent license. Stipend is 26000 every month.Duration of it is 1 year after final mbbs exam .You will get a temporary license to practice as an intern

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee is set by the government of kerala ,so no major variation can be seen.Yearly 25000 is annual fee .SC ST OEC students needn't pay the tuition and hostel fee. SC ST OEC students are eligible for mess refund too. They have other scholarship too for buying laptop stethoscope etc. For OBC momo and egarntz scholarship are available

Campus Life :

My college gives us a very good college life full of celebration .We celebrate every festival .We are champions in kuhs interzone arts and sports.Interbatch arts is a month long competition were We realize talents in ourselves. Olympian rahman stadium, free gym facility all are highlights

Hostel Facilities :

For 2nd years we are getting a room accomadaying 4 people .It is not very spacious but still its fine ,as many reading areas are available in college.Meal is of high quality and complaints are seriously taken .Hostel sec and mess sec are elected post and student voice have its power in cmc.Hostel fee is 9000 per year .Mess fee100 daily

Admission :

Neet ug exam is the entrance examination and the admission in government College is based on merit .Reservation are present for every category.Neet is a yearly exam for which approx 18 lakh students appear ,so the competition is very high .Compared with JEE question level is simple but competition is way too far tha it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is too heavy and there is lot to learn . Since it is based on helping people I chose this course. And the curriculum is set in such away that we were trained to face health problems in real world in real time. The final year time duration can be increased since there are 6 subjects which are too hard. There will be 3 internal assessment in which total of no less 40 percent should be scored in both theory and practical only then you will be permitted to write the University Exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum is mainly focussing on academics . There is also sports and arts including competition but they are not supporting the students. The question paper difficulty is of moderate type and can pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We were brought into the new CBME curriculum. Even the faculty finds it hard to comply with as it is a new system. There are a lot of small group discussions and self directed learning programmes that consider the teacher as just a facilitator and students are meant to learn with the guidance of the facilitator.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is very esteemed profession and we have the lives of people in our hands. Curriculum very well prepares us for real world applications if we put effort from our side too. Faculties need to be more student friendly though.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Why MBBS because it has been my dream since of I was kid and I’m glad that I made it this far. Each batch in my college have 250 students and for every 25 students one faculty would be given as mentor, whom we can approach for any of queries. Apart from that practical and clinical postings are really fascinating. We would have year exams as to qualify each year, and a few internal exams every 2-3 months. And these exams I wouldn’t put it too tough that we have to give our 100% of time for only studies but nor too easy. If we put a moderate effort for studies we are soo good to go.
