Good point is peaceful area and visiting too much places .. And bad point is placement chances is up to 2%

Entrance Preview :

Because it is nearest to my home. And I come back to home easily. And i hear about this college to my friend it gives good placement.and there teacher is too good and place is beautiful because it is the place where RAVINDRA nath tagore was born.thats why I join this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I completed my course very smoothly and my percentage increase every semester.linearly I am very happy to see this and for doing hard work I acchive this and got the knowledge about my stream.. I am very thankful to my hods and my dear teachers they teach me very well.

Internships Opportunities :

No my college not provide any internship program and not get any stippend only visiting the thermal power plants.

Placement Experience :

There were no placement will be there .but students they got placement which salary is not good.so it's a bad point in this college. But except this all things are good .like facility place and environment students for learning it's a good place but in the case of placement not good.

College Events :

When I go to college in 1semester I join nen internship program..I feel full enjoy and very nice to attain there were so much students participate in this program and teachers and students work very hard to organizing this program and my college got first prize...

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is average it all about 7 lac for both hostel and college fee structure up to fourth year ..and it's college life will be awesome..I got every semester a good marks you will get also a good marks their facility members are too good they are very helpful..

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No scholarship program will be there but I got my state scholarship in one time .and loan facility will be there up to 4 lacs.

Campus Life :

My campus's a beautiful life. I remember all the moment of my college my classroom was too good and all friend are too good .in my stream there were 25 boys and 10 girls.all are helpful to each other..and in extracurricular an entrepreneurship program is there.lab sport is good condition.and also some students participate in robotics.

Hostel Facilities :

I will give 4.5 out of 5 because in my hostal is clean and good and food facility is average veg and non veg both only Thursday only veg is available.and in hostal life was awesome..it full on maati.. there were wifi facility and bus facility for college to hostel.and hostel to college.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

My senior is too much good they help us for every time and every necessary items..any problem of any students they give good guidelines for all.

Exam Structure :

Exam structure is ever six months and test scheduled were before the exam and every two months and every semester a form fill up will be done then download admit card and for before sitting in exam all fee of semester and hostel will be clear if not clear not sit in the exam.

Admission :

I got admitted through jee mains score card.and then for concealing I got this college.and I go to this college before admission in it.i see there environment is too much good and peaceful location and for visiting there were too much places.cinemahalls.

Faculty :

Facility was good they are very helpful and suggest good for me all the time they are highly educated .they teach very well all students understood all the topics easily but some teachers are not well they have not proper knowledge in her field ..they not teaches good..

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

College was good in terms of studies and many more. But now it fails in giving placement. Most of the students are still unemployed. Only 30% of the students are placed from college. Others have to find there own jobs.

One of the good colleges.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
