All have pros and cons : University also

Dislikes

  • The criteria of 75% attendance is the thing i hate the most.
  • Continuous assignment presentation examination visit is the thing i dont like

Course Curriculum Overview :

I would rate this msc biotechnology course in mit wpu 4 out of 5 as they have many course related workshops, seminar, guest lecture, any events which helps me to evolve from every aspect and this prepares me for my upcoming journey .

Internships Opportunities :

Here we have good placement opportunities, like University has good tie up with companies and industries for field and course. Everyone can sit in placement round whoch can be the greatest learning for everyone.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

We have semester wise course so for 1st semester it was 70000/- and for second semester it is 60000/- . They provide many scholarships but all that have specific criterias which we have to fullfill .They have scholarship for international students also.

Campus Life :

Here, in my college there are very few events that takes place like ride, gathering, felicitation ceremony other then this we have to have 75 % attendance for appearing in exam. Even after all this we enjoy spending time in college with our friend circle and they are the only reason why i go to college

Hostel Facilities :

Here , in my hostel we have 3 people sharing room and per person rent is 220000 /- for 10 months. They provide all the facilities like food , clothes washing, room cleaning, safety etc. They provide 4 meals a day that is breakfast lunch snacks and dinner. For registration in my hostel we have to first pay half price of rent and then other half should be paid with 15 days time. Vidhyaniketan girls hostel

Admission :

Firstly for msc course i gave college entrance exam then after scoring more then cut off In first round, personal interview session was there for second round, then the merit list was released . The entrance exam was bit difficult as it was having questions based on critical thinking, subject related, mathematical approaches many other .

Placement Experience:

From third semester students are eligible for getting placements. Companies like Cairn India, SLB, Exonn, Halliburton etc come every year for placements. Highest package is around 24 lakhs and average is 13 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is very less. After getting degree anyone can give competitive exams like gate for PSUs and GSI and if anybody is interested they can go for phds.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity is more of research based. They have dissertations for students at the end of of their academic year, and also provide mentors for the same. The syllabus is also not very vast and covers the most necessary topics.

Placement Experience:

The placements are actually very nice since if you study well, all of the students can be eligible for placements and there are various companies which visit on campus for hiring so there is always a chance of 100% placements here. The highest package goes upto 14 LPA.

Placement Experience:

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.

The college aims to provide students the opportunity to visit diverse countries and campuses. The objective of this effort is to provide students an opening to gain real life exposure to the cultural, social, industrial, educational & historical aspects of each other’s countries. I would recommend this college to everyone.
