  • The hostel does not have adequate accommodation for all students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum itself is quite interesting and provides a in depth knowledge about the course. The curriculum starts at the very beginning which helps even the students who have never studied the subjects before. Even the course material for the subjects is descriptive and easy to understand. A student studying in economics honours would be through with all the concepts and have a better time in opting for further education in the same field

Internships Opportunities :

The college being reputed in the corporate world allows a lot of companies in a wide field to approach the students. Byju's, Bajaj Capital, Decathlon, ExtraMarks, CRY, Josh Talks, etc. And other such big companies usually come.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fees for 1 year is just 25000, considering how expensive it has become to get good colleges. The colleges also provides various opportunities to take advantage of scholarship opportunities and a seamless system to facilitate it.

Campus Life :

A typical day for a college student starts with attending classes, grabbing meals with friends in the college canteen, and studying in the library or a coffee shop. Between classes, students may participate in club meetings or activities, such as joining a sports team, volunteering for a cause they're passionate about, or attending a film screening or lecture. attending campus events like concerts or comedy shows, or simply relaxing with roommates. On weekends, students might explore the local area, attend parties or social gatherings, or use the time for recreational activities like hiking, playing intramural sports, or visiting nearby attractions. Overall, our college life is a blend of academic pursuits, social interactions, and personal growth experiences.

Admission :

The eligibility for the exam was class 12 passed, and the exam is officially called cuet I.e common universities entrance test. The exam itself was rather easy only taking into consideration the subjects you had appeared for in class 12. One of the major problems for the exam was that it was stretched out for quite a long time, for almost 2 months. Other than that the admission process was smooth and we were allotted our colleges without much problem.

Placement Experience:

The Placement Cell of the college is very active. Students can avail themselves of the placement opportunities from the fifth semester. I have been selected as a content writer in the fifth semester. I was offered a 4.6 LPA in the esteemed company. More than 40 percent of students end up doing getting jobs. I have decided to earn some experience as a content writer and then apply for the MA journalism program.

Placement Experience:

For the courses like Architecture, Engineering, Law, Mass Communication, many big companies come for placements in Jamia. As my course is a Bachelors's subject under Arts, there aren't many placement opportunities. But I hope to pursue my Master in History after which I would try to get placed.

Placement Experience:

The placements for BA Program in particular are slightly lower as compared to other courses. Most students from the course opt for higher studies but the few who choose to sit for placements find it hard to land a job. Campus placements start in 5th semester and continue for the entire final year. A student is free to sit for as many companies as they like, as long as they meet the eligibility criteria like CGPA, course, etc. Most companies hire a maximum of 4 students owing to the small population of students at St. Stephen's. The highest package in 2021 was 18LPA and the average package is about 6 LPA-8 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Around 70% of the students get good campus placements, especially in the private sector. The average package for the students is 6,000,00 per annum. The highest package offered to the student varies between 25 lakhs to 35 lakhs. My plans are different as I want to pursue my higher education.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is good. It has tie ups with reputed news channels. But in our course, the college does not provide internships, students have do it themselves and they have to prepare their own youtube channel for work.

Remarks:

The management is an equally hardworking and efficient team like the faculties. They maintain a good relationship with the students as well as with the teachers and are approachable for both the parties. Their functioning has ensured that the college runs smoothly in terms of presenting itself to others.
