Remarks :

College life is pretty good and memorable and educational

Entrance Preview :

I opted for this college mainly because it is closer to my home and provides good placements. It has a lot of fests going on throughout the year. Professors encourages us to take part in different curricular activities. This college also provides quality training courses

Course Curriculum Overview :

MAKAUT course curriculum is followed in this college. The curriculum is updated and in par with the industry standard requirements. Student are well trained and groomed for the recent trends. All in all college experience is good, education is quality and professors are great

Internships Opportunities :

College doesn't provide paid internship as far as I know. Maybe otherwise. But they do provide good quality training and workshops.

Placement Experience :

This college has very good job opportunities as long as you have 7.0 or above GPA or grade per annum. Wipro, TCS, CAPEGEMINI as well as some dream job companies visit us every year. Lots of students from every branch are place each year.minimum package that is offered is around 2 LPA. But some companies offer much more

College Events :

The largest fest of meghnad Saha institute of technology is the tech fest paridhi.it happens during the odd semester. Lot of events are organised and colleges from around west Bengal takes part in various events such as robotics, ai, developing softwares and gaming

Fee Structure And Facilities :

I find the fee structure for this college quite reasonable given the quality of education and exposure that is provided to the students. Also training and workshops are free of cost and included in the fee structure. Placements are good. And faculties are really caring and knowledgeable.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarships or loan facilities are not provided by our college. But provisions are there for delay in payment of fees

Campus Life :

Campus life is pretty much standard. We have a good 50-50 ratio of girls and boys on campus. You would find interactive and easy going seniors in campus who would me more than happy to guide the newcomers.it is a ragging free zone. Paridhi is fun and gaming events are the main attractions during that time

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel accommodations are not much great. Rooms are not well lit and there are no provisions for air-conditioning or single sharing. 3-4 students share are single room and food is edible. Not much there. Only plus point is hostels are situated outside college premises but very close to college

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

There is a vast alumni network that exists where one can find anyone be it seniors are juniors. Pass out students attend fest

Exam Structure :

We have two semester exams each year conducted during June and December. Semesters are generally two weeks long followed by 1month long semester breaks. Apart from that we have 2 internal exams per semester. The odd semesters are a little shorter than the even semesters

Admission :

I filled up the admission form with my correct marks details along with valid proofs. Afterwards I was called for the interview. After interview round where I was asked a few questions from my course as well as general ones I was told to wait. Then I was told that I got in.

Faculty :

This college has many esteemed faculties from different spheres of technical education.some of them are older and but mostly young. They all gel with the students pretty well and try to understand their perspectives. We also share our personal or college related problems with some of them. They make us feel very much at home.

A Good-Bad College Experience.

Placement Experience:

We started preparing for our placements from semester 4. And the preperation kept on increasing with each semester. The companies like SAP, Accenture, Deloitte, TCS started visiting from 5th semester. Their average package varied between 4-5 LPA. If 100 students sit for placement, then approx 85% are placed. That is the biggest flex of the college. We all were placed too.

My College life was awesome, i never forget it.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, you can be eligible for the placements. There are many companies visited in our college like Amazon, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Sutherland, etc. The Highest package salary is like 3,50,000/- maximum, and the average package is 2,75,000/- I have seen in my college life. But there are so many companies that visited in the past few years, they offered up to 4,50,000/-. There are 60% are placed in the company.

Remarks:

College is very strict regarding discipline and timing. You need to enter college before 9.13 or you can enter at 10.30. You cannot enter and leave college at your own well and wish. In spite of discipline, you will enjoy your college days and become a professional after three years.
