Course Curriculum Overview :

The Subject Which I choose Is Bachelors Of Commerce. It Is The Combination Of Two Differenet Aspects Of Accounting And Business Management Which Inflienced Me To Choose this Course. It Helps Us Prepare In the Fields Of Accounting, Business Management, Economic Welfare which Helps a Person to Be Of Versatile Nature.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 11240 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The Tution Fee When Compared to The Facilities Provided By the College is Very Worthy. My Course Fees is ?11,240 P.A only For the B.Com . It includes the Services Of Sports Materials Provided In Sport Activites..Also the Library Facility is Free. The Scholarship Facility Is Also Provided To the Schedule Casts Category.

Campus Life :

Many Fests are Held In This College Like Biggest Arm Wrestling Fest Held In month of November,2023 and YUVTARANG Fest Held In December,2023.Also, Sports Competition In the Annual Fest Held In Feb,2024. It also Provides Various Sports Competition Like Cricket, Volleyball,etc.

Admission :

I Filled The Form Of SPMR college Of Commerce Through Its Online Website. Also I Selected This College in My Preference List Of Cuet Exam Form, in Which I Scored the Eligible Marks. The Exam Of Cuet Was Quite Easy. The Application Form Of The College Was Very Simple and The Admission Process Was also Very Simple Not Complex and The Payment Gateway was Easily Accessible.Only Area Of Improvement In the Admission Process Is Subject Selection At time Of Admission.The Subject Selection in Bcom should Also Be in Online Form

Actually i was interested in business from starting only. I wanted to do BBA but unfortunately i didnt have good marks in class 12th . So i couldn't get admission in BBA. Bcom was my second preference. So had to do that.

SPMR COLLEGE OF COMMERCE JAMMU - A BRIEF REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

Under UGC B.COM, the subjects like Accounting influenced me to choose this course as I am interested to learn the subject and even the curriculum is good enough to help in learning. The curriculum is also designed in a way to apply the things learned in the course in professional life but not in real life. According to me, the course is well designed except some subjects that have been put in the course such as Hindi, EVS etc. which may not be useful in professional life of student The exams are conducted well before the time. The semester duration is of 6 months. But they take semester end exams within 4 months. The difficulty level is easy to moderate.

Entrance Preview:

I took the CAT and successfully qualified the text. I was motivated to take B.Com due to my interest in the enterprise world and my passion working in the commerce industry.

Placement Experience:

Talking about the placement front, the college has a dedicated placement cell and each year a score of students get placed in various companies like HDFC, HCL, IBM, etc. During my course a total of 15 companies visited the campus for placement and about 20 students were placed, 5 of them in HDFC and Reliance Mutual.
