Life in college was amazing, the management sucked.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Most of the faculties were not that great, but I found very good faculties as well. There was quite a lot of focus on practical learning as I was studying law and you have to have practical experience as a law graduate. We did have research assignments every semester which would be a part of the curriculum. There were too many electives. Few of them were space law, mergers, and acquisitions etc.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, college does provide internships as we had an internship committee. but I never applied through the committee. Most of the internships were unpaid. I always chose to apply by myself as you didn't have any option to say no to an internship you get through college committee. I always found applying by myself much easier and convenient than approaching internship committee in college. But if someone faces difficulty finding one then you can always go for college internship committee help.

Placement Experience :

Placement was good if not the best. We did have few law firms, many corporations coming in for placements. We had ITC, Accenture, ACT a broadband company, clutch group who visited our campus for placements.average package was close to 3.5 lakhs per annum.

College Events :

Christ is very happening campus. Whenever you pay a visit, you will always find some or the other event happening.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It wasn't very affordable. Annual fees was 1,2000 back then. They would have revised it by now. Plus every months personal experience would go up to 15-18 grand. I ended up paying 15-18 lakhs in 5 years of my course.

Hostel Facilities :

Nope. Hostels were there only for girls.not for guys. I paid 6 grand for a single room in my Pg which excluded food. Well yeah that sounds stupid as Pg is supposed to be including food. Not in my case though.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, the college provides alumni network. I never used it though.

Faculty :

Like I mentioned before, the faculty members were not that great as most of them were Freshers who didn't have any prior experience in teaching. However, there were few good teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I never had an interest in law. But I chose this course because of my Friend who guided me by saying that there is a lot of opportunity once you gain legal knowledge and also boosts up your career in the legal field.

Placement Experience:

Depending on college only for placements is a bad idea, if one scores good marks he/she can expect placements from here for an average student they need to do more internships and look for a job outside when they are in the final semester so they will not any difficulties, for law during corona no college will enure 50 percent of placement also as job opportunities in the normal period are only less. 8-10 companies visited our college, for MBA 10-15 companies visited, the highest package was 5 lowest was 1.5. I am pursuing MBA from another college as I wanted to pursue my higher education.

Placement Experience:

The campus Placement starts from the 9th Semester. But, you can apply through the Placement Cell for internships during breaks. Infosys, Bosch, Pramata, TCS, Thompson Reuters etc. come in for Placements each year. more than 50% of students get placed each year. I am a litigating lawyer at the High Court of Kerala, working at a Law Firm in Kochi within a month of obtaining my degree.

Remarks:

College overall is good. But the location of the college is not good as there is no bus of the state that goes till there. You always have to break the journey and that is quite hectic as the college is 13kms away from the main hostel and 10-15 walk from. The other hostel which is not at all a good place.
