Teaching campus library lectures placements

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is good. The college comes under vtu so they are following the VTU syllabus. All faculties are well knowledged about the subjects. Teaches the concepts easily. Core subjects are a little difficult but the lectures help to understand.

Class Size : 36Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Companies like Samsung, and Andrew additive CLR provide internships based on academics and their openings, they give real-time projects to work on they teach the latest technology, and they provide placements as well.

Placement Experience :

The College offers good placements college has a dedicated cell for placements for campus the companies like Accenture, Deloitte, Bosch, Honeywell, Byjus are coming students from 6th SEM are eligible for placements

Fees and Financial Aid :

Overall college fees are 150000 for admission through management. They give the option to pay the fees in installments college provides free internships. The college has a dedicated department for internships and placements.

Campus Life :

The Campus is very good and has a big lawn, the college has a Library and a digital library both the libraries have having a good amount of books and journals and digital books classes are equipped with smartboards, projectors.

Admission :

I have been admitted through management the college fee is 150000 per year. The campus is good. The college has a good library, we have 3 internals in each semester. The campus has a good laboratory with the latest equipment.

Interview Experience :

Yes went though a interview and group discussion discussion was about the technical knowledge about the interest in the course we selected . why this course and so on should have good marks in English maths and science

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Experience through words

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.
