Difference in gym timings for senior hostel and junior hostel
Gate closing time if hostel is 10 pm in summers which is a drawback in opinion of me

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of my course is really up to date and match the things you need to learn to survive in todays tech industry . Our course involves artificial intelligence and machine learning, c and c++ language , dsa ,oops etc , which enhances the skills of the student

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 416000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Collage provide internships to the student by collabing with different companies like tech mahindra , tcs , wipro , etc . These all are paid internships and are provided in the 3 year in btech courses

Placement Experience :

Campus placements are average with average package of 5 lpa .as I am btech student I only knows about b tech placements , highest placement was of 20 lpa previous year of our senior , and internships are also provided by the companies at starting of 3 rd year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees of engineering is really worthy in this collage as compare to high fees of other engineering institutes . My total fees including all mess , tution fees , and other expenses is 560000 for 4 years degree , so according to me its the most affordable collage for engineering in north india

Campus Life :

There are alot of things always happening around , like sports , cultural events , vip visits , guest lectures , movie promotions and all . A lot of departmental activities were organised on weekly bases . horse riding club is situated in campus for teaching horse riding to the students . basant fest is organised in march month , and udaan fest and tech fest is organised in month of august every year with some special guest to give performance . So over all campus like and co carricular is very good in the collage

Hostel Facilities :

So basically there are 4 students in one room but the room is really big enough for 4 people . We are provided with 2 ceeling fans , one room cooler , two tube light , two power connections , and a balcony , and the almirah , chair table and bed . You have to come with your own kagress and pillow . Mess have really nice menu of food on alternate days with huge variety . Hostels have lift and common washroom areas ,and in winters warm water is provided as per timings , and wifi facilities are also 24×7

Hostel Fee : INR 144000 per year

Admission :

As I am from jammu you can get directly admission through councillors or you can contact the collage admission cell directly from the collage website . there are some more ways by which you can get admissions . eg:- through cuet,jee mains score , etc

I was doing bachelor of Technology in computer science. Starting from the classroom to the computer labs , everything is available and well maintained. You learn programming and languages with the help of faculty and for every student there is computer available with all equipments. Placement Experience:

In- campus placement is not that good it is below average as they have taken way too many admissions their placements are not even to rely on they dont provide with good companies coming for selection average placement in CSE in 3-4 lpa they focus on theoretical knowledge more than the practical knowledge so no students are ready for the placement criterias and at last they fail as predicted

SLIET: A Modern Gurukul

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem for the degree and 6th for the diploma and 4th sem for the Mtech Students. Placements are about average and this year 2023 the placement ratio is growing faster and about 70 percent of the students from each branch got at least an average package. 20LPA is the highest in the history of SLIET offered by Microsoft. I have already been placed in HCL and Cognizant-like MNCs. So focus on the only job now.

My review

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Chitkara. The placement procedure starts in the 6th semester of our college and goes until you are graduated (8th semester). Need to mention that Chitkara holds a record of 100% placement. Every student gets placed here. Companies offer anything between 3lpa - 12lpa. But you need to study a bit for getting placed. Note that college cannot force a company to recruit students. Companies recruit based on tests and interviews that they conduct. My plans after getting a degree will be to work for the company I've been placed in.
