Course Curriculum Overview :

The course needs a basic knowledge in pus 1 and 2 syllabus as fort 2 years we have to study all subjects including chemistry maths language etc The core papers start from 3rd year like mechanics ,relativity , mathematical physics etc. The integrated pg eases us as we don't have to worry about admissions in pg colleges separately.

Class Size : 31Course Fees : INR 20000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee is paid try sbi collect by simple procedure The annual fee for the course is around 20k in which it includes library fee , tuition fee , and student amenities. No scholarships directly from university apart from fee reduction for sc and st candidates.

Campus Life :

Campus have lots of student circles as it is allowed up to a limit by the rules. Department is having many clues like VINN astro clg in physics , etc Hostel and mess is run by hostel-mess committee thru Anual nomination and student council is also there to represent students to university authorities.

Hostel Facilities :

Girls perusing ug have 3 hostels Each room is accommodated by 3 members where a fan an light are provided The room is lit and ventilated and is a perfect location for study and research purposes. Bathroom are shared and is well maintained.

Hostel Fee : INR 2000 per year

Admission :

Eligibility is plus 2 complete and CUET ug qualification for under graduate courses Admissions are initiated thru Samarth portal and then thru prior call from department office. Classes started as soon as admission procedure is done Physics had 32 seats.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus framed is based on outcome based learning. There is also different levels in learning that makes students to engage in learning the concept more deeper and clear with their concepts. The syllabus not only includes core subjects but also allied and elective papers. Papers like enterpreunership, women studies and so on are included exclusively. Students are advised to complete online courses, and some extra courses. Faculties are well versed and the classes for immunology and biotechnology are taught excellently. During practical classes staff teach the students in batches so no one is left. Experiments are repeated for students excellence in their practical classes. Additionally students are offered animation course for science content development videos, which makes student to opt jobs related to non-core. The placements are good. PSGR krishnammal is the best choice for Zoology in Tamil Nadu.

Because chemistry is a good course it had a bright future. The student ratio is 40 in each department. We had only two faculties so teaching is not enough. Yes, exams are very difficult for students because we had fewer teachers so it would be difficult to pass.

Admission:

I got admission in this college based on my marks in 12th standard. I am studying Bachelor of Science in Zoology. Merit list is prepared based on our marks scored in 12th. This is good college in our place and it is women's college which is also suitable for me. Candidate must have studied physics, chemistry and biology in 12th standard for admission in this course.

Placement Experience:

There are many companies which recruits students from our college from various branch. Few of them are Wipro, Sutherland, global services, IBM, TCS, Transworks, wase, KGiSL, etc. Job opportunities for Bsc Zoology students is less. Internship opportunities are not provided by college but help us to find.

My review

Remarks:

Positive - The Library. It is dumped with more than 82k books. With digital library and fantastic reference section. Play ground, gym etc well equipped and nicely maintained. Nice wifi connectivity. Canteen with nominal rate any one could afford. Entrepreneur we have TBI for young Entrepreneurs fully functioning. Negative - Staff have to update or read books before they come to class. Syllabus should match the industrial needs. Labs should be well equipped.
