Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is very well prepared and it has good reputation compared to other colleges too. The curriculum is made to match the learning of the students and the staff are very caring, they teach from the basics so as to make sure no student face any difficulty in learning. By following this curriculum we can learn the time management as the first skill and the arrangement makes the learning process a lot easier. The course curriculum can be made a bit more faster so as to give more time to take break after the exams. The exams are conducted at the frequency of a month in between them.
Internships Opportunities :
The internships are offered from the second year itself and the companies to provide them are the well known national tech and software companies such as reliance, Infosys etc..the roles offered are generally as a team member of the software development or as a leader of a team . Projects of improving the software and the management are generally done with good stipends of most one lakh per month.
Placement Experience :
One of the reasons as to why I chose JNTUH is that because of it's high placement percentage with high packages. Students get eligible for placements in the third year second semester. Various national and international companies such as ITC, Infosys and Google, Microsoft visit the college to scout the talents with very high packages. The highest package was received by a student recently that is a total of fifty five lakh per annum. The percentage though it varies it is usually around 60-70. I plan to write CAT and get a seat in MBA top colleges of the country.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fees for my course of b tech + m tech in Electronics and Communication engineering is rupees one lakh per year. This course doesn't have a fee hike and thefee is constant for atleast next 3-4 years. The transport for my travel is nearly 150 rupees a day, that is 3000 per month and almost 25000 per annum. There are various scholarships available as financial aid for students including one by the State Government of Telangana. The amount is usually in percentage of tuition fees and I think it's around 50. I have yet to participate in any job roles since being in first year I'm not allowed by college till my entry into second year. But the stipends paid are definitely satisfactory is the review given by the seniors.
Campus Life :
The experience is new and a learning one. There are various festivals such as the freshers and annual day along with branch wise tech and cultural fests taking place in the college. They are held in the months of December, March and April. The libraries in the college are two in number and are consisting of millions of books which provide knowledge not only in technical purposes but also philosophical and general knowledge. There are grounds for outdoor sports and a large indoor stadium where games such as basketball and badminton courts are main centres of attraction. There is also a swimming pool in the college which can be used for either practice or learning. There are groups which focuses on students requirements such as their needs and clubs for growth of required life skills and technical skills, these groups help a lotin increasing connections with all the experienced seniors and provide opportunities to come out in public and make our mark in the society.
Admission :
The exam through which I got into JNTUH is TSEAMCET. This exam is written in the 12 th class. By going to the TSEAMCET website one can understand the procedure regarding the exam. The application form generated usually in the month of April. The exam is not too tough compared to the board examinations but the given time is limited and the number of questions to be answered are more. So time management is very important for this exam. The exam is conducted once a year. Reservation is applied to the exam as per the Telangana state reservation bill. The admission was done smoothly after the exam, not a long process and the college took great care in helping through admission process.
