Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course as I always had an interest in forensics and criminology since mid childhood. The curriculum of this course is very scientific and prepares the students for real life practical applications, which helps them to provide justice to the victims of the crime once they get a job. More court visits, prison visits, real life case analysis may be conducted as an improvement. The curriculum is designed in a scientific way. The university conducts three internal exams along with one final external exams which is moderate in difficulty and it makes the students mentally strong.

Class Size : 35Course Fees : INR 50500 per year

Placement Experience :

The students do get placements in NFSU. The students become eligible for placement in the last semester. Many private companies like Microsoft visits the campus and offers the students with jobs. The students are also trained for UGC NET exam for further research and phd after which they gets a wholesome jobs. Students are also trained for SSC CGL exams after which they gets a job in various investigation agencies of government like CBI, IB, CIA etc. I will be seating for UGC NET after completion of the course.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tution fee of my course in NFSU is ?50,500 per semester. There are ten semesters in total. The tution fee doesn't hike in general. The total cost of the course is around 5lakhs . There are some scholarships available for Students belonging to SC, ST or OBC categories. The scholarship is also available for the students who secure in top ten rank of NFSU final exams. I haven't taken in employment now but one can apply for internship along with stipends.

Campus Life :

The Campus life of NFSU is very Joyous. Students around the globe comes here for their education. There are many Freshers, Farewells, Fests , workshops and many sports and cultural events are organized in the campus. Farewell is conducted in even semesters and freshers in odd semesters. The library of the NFSU is packed with many educational and non educational or reference books with huge collection, which is accessible by the students through the librarian. The classroom is air conditioned equiped with smart boards and projectors. Students also can play various outdoor and indoor sports which are available in the premises. There are various clubs and groups like literature, cultural, sports or gardening clubs which can enhance the co curriculum of the student.

Admission :

The admission in National Forensic Sciences University is only through National Forensic Admission Test (NFAT) exam, which is conducted by NTA. The Link of the website for application form is available in official NFSU portal. The Candidate must pass plus two with 60% in Science stream (PCB/PCM) . The details of fee of application form , fees and exam dates are available in the portal. The exam is conducted in CBT mode within 3 hours. The difficulty level is moderate. Subjects of the exam includes Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, GK and reasoning. After the results are released, candidates can find their name in Merit lists after which they can seat for counseling. There can be mode than one merit lists published. The whole admission process is good in my opinion .

There is almost 90% up ratio for sucessfull placments and it is worth it. the fresher average package in placement is 4 to 5 LPA per annum. Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty of SDAU is very helpful and well educated. The method of teaching of faculty is also very good. The number of students per division is 150 and 30 per sub-division. The faculty don't concentrate only on study but concentrate on the overall development of the students. The level of exam in college is not so easy and not so hard the level of exam is moderate level.
