A GOOD college if you have low medium percentile .

  • We have too much hectic days in weekdays as we have 4-3 labs in a week of 3 hours each.
  • We don't have a swimming pool and no auditorium , just have an Open Air Theatre.

Course Curriculum Overview :

LNMIIT is all about tech and coding culture . They emphasis on the computer related topics more and curriculum is relavtivity new as compare to other colleges like IIITs and NITs. We have 600 students in our batch Y23(CSE +ECE+MEC+dual degree). College try to improve themselves and responsed well in terms of feedback from students before mid-term and End-term examination.

Internships Opportunities :

As I am in the 2nd semester I am no-one to provide a vital information on intership and placement things. All i know is that college is all about placement and coding culture all the companies came her are tech based which give intership opportunities along with stipend (between 20k to 80k) which is preety good according to me. Also provide programes which help in development of students.

Placement Experience :

According to last year information average is around 14.4lpa and median is 13lpa which was preety nice on paper( don't kow the reality). But this is as the placemenet is low as compared to last year. Unofficial avg is around 13 lpa and 12 lpa median. College also provide intership opportunities with stipend. There is a compulsory to do a intership which is approved by TPC.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As I am from middle Class Family it is a strange thing that a semi-government college have this much high tution fees. It is around 5.6 lakhs per year in hostel and mess along with tution fee. There are some Schoolarship which college give to students from economically backward section and for acedemic excellence. There is TA program which college give to students who have 8+cgpa and have A grade in respective lab. In this program the students who selected for TA are assign 6hr a week to help their junior batch students in that lab (pragrom includes stipend).

Campus Life :

I am in the 2nd semester and we didn't have any of our college fest in 1 semester. They all are in jan and feb. We mainly have 3 big fest in our college which are PLINTH (Annual Tech Fest), DESPOTIVOS (Sport Fest) and Viva City (Cultural Fest). We have around 15 clubs in our college for the overall development of the Student. Some of them are GDSC,DEBSOC,TPC etc. We have only 1 library in our college as the intake of the college is low. We have all the facilities related to the main sports .

Hostel Facilities :

In 1st semester we are given three seater room (they are for double seating but converted to 3 seating). But from 2nd semester we are given double sharing rooms. For 2nd year Boys BH 4 is alloted ,in which every room have window A.C's and also have their own mess inside the hostel. There is no extra fees for double sharing rooms .

Admission :

There is no specific examation for lnmiit. We have to apply on the lnmiit website and only jee mains score is considered.THERE IS NOTHING LIKE RESERVATION IN THIS UNIVERSITY. Admission process is quick as usual.I get CSE branch on 97.5 percentile ont he 1st round and the cutoff for cse is around 96.5 percentile.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

There are a lot of companies in our college very much are tech companies but there are branch specific companies also. The placement department is working very hard for each person's good placement. There are 70-80% chances that you will get placed conditionally if you have the right skills and knowledge required there.

A good type of companies like Google, Microsoft, Apple, etc offer internships two together off-campus and on-school grounds where there exist many assistant roles ready for use to enhance our ability and get ready for future placements. We also disturb do a variety of projects to embellish our skills. Out of it, 60-70% of students get placed. My plan after getting a degree is to start up my own startup. College also supports new startup plans.

Placement Experience:

Our campuses placement scenario has been positive with a 100% placement rate. Around 2 months before the placement session, the placement cell of our college contact recruiters after which through the job announcement form, all the companies provide our necessary data. Most importantly, everyone needs to know that the placement session occurs twice a year i.e. between January to April and August to November. Above all, the highest package offered in the previous year was 45 LPA and that as an average package 7-8 L was witnessed. Also, since our college offers summer internships.
