Fees and Financial Aid:
The total fee of one semester in 2024 is 2,90,000 including tution fee, admission fee, hostel and mess charges, internet and electricity charges etc. Also, the college clarifies that there may be the fee hike of 10%-15% every year. The college provides many types of scholarship. For that, your JEE Adv rank must be under 12000. And from 2nd semester onwards, you have to maintain your cg above 9.25%. Personally, I think the fee is very high although great facilities are provided by the college.

- The crowd here is good, also there is no reservation, so it's totally merit based.

- The fees for 4 years is too high like 25lacs+ is too much.
- The washrooms of our hostels were not as good and clean as they should be.

Tuition fee here seem to be high like more than 2 lacs tuition fee and hostel are at good price like 55k for a semester. Tution fee increases 10% a year. For 4 years you might have to pay 27 lakhs if you join this institute now. There are many scholarships available like if you have jee advanced rank under 12000 you can get scholarship in 1st sem and also if you maintain 9.25+cg , also if you Your parent income is less than 5 lacs, if u have single parent then also. the fees is on a little higher side(around 25Lakhs for the complete B.Tech course(4yrs)) there are many scholarship..one of them is merit based like if your SGPA is above 9.2 there are categorized scholarship. Another is based on your JEE-Advanced rank if it's less than 12k

Tution fee increase at maximum of 10% after each year and the fees is on a higher side. The complete cost of graduation for my batch is 20,00,000/- INR and regarding the scholarship, it is based on the family income and also if a student has a single parent.

- The college is very strict with respect to student freedom.
- The campus is not that big, the canteen area has barely any restaurant. Nightmare for non-vegetarians

There is a hike of 10% tuition fees every year, although sometimes these are relaxed but not every time. The complete cost of the education will be around 20 lakhs. There are many financial assistance available for less privileged people but they are hardly of any use.

- I liked sports facilities of my college ,As we have different grounds for football, cricket and have flood lights for Basketball, Volleyball, Kabaddi and lawn Tennis, etc.
- Campus is large enough and a lot of greenery is there.

- We have too much hectic days in weekdays as we have 4-3 labs in a week of 3 hours each.
- We don't have a swimming pool and no auditorium , just have an Open Air Theatre.
Fees and Financial Aid:
As I am from middle Class Family it is a strange thing that a semi-government college have this much high tution fees. It is around 5.6 lakhs per year in hostel and mess along with tution fee. There are some Schoolarship which college give to students from economically backward section and for acedemic excellence. There is TA program which college give to students who have 8+cgpa and have A grade in respective lab. In this program the students who selected for TA are assign 6hr a week to help their junior batch students in that lab (pragrom includes stipend).

The fees here is 2.5 lakh per semester for tution fees. It is approx 4.5lakh including mess,hostle and tution fees. It does increase per semester by 5k-10k. Scolerships are available here which are given on the based of CGPA.

- The greenery of the campus makes it really beautiful and calm.
- The placements have been an attraction point for this college.
Dislikes
- Lack of facilities like an auditorium and enough hostels.
- Poor taste of mess and inconsistency in taste.

The total fees for the degree is high and not very justified. It should have been lesser and specially post covid the fees has increased very much. Merit based scholarships are provided from 2nd semester onwards and some financial assistance is provided to the economically weaker students based on certain conditions.

- The style of teaching by faculty is very poor and not upto the mark.
- The eligibility criteria to sit in placements is not good as majority of the students don't get to sit in placements.

The biggest disadvantage of studying in this college is its very high fees. There are scholarships offered to BPL students' parents and also on the basis of the results of the dirst semester of the student.

They have really great placement statistics for a Tier - 2/3 college and it is famous for it but this college needs to fees hike under control.

I feel LMNIIT CSE is a much better choice than NIT Agartala CSE provided that you have the financial means to get admission there. Here is why I feel it's better than NIT Agartala
- LMNIIT has a more updated and flexible curriculum than NIT Agartala.
- LMNIIT has a better crowd since the admissions are purely based on merit and there is no reservation policy.
- Many IT giants visit LMNIIT every year for placements which isn't the case at NIT Agartala as the job opportunities are limited there.
- Jaipur has better opportunities for preparation for competitive exams like CAT and GRE.
- LNMIIT is not a private college but a Public Private Partnership so you will avail the benefits of this high brand value in the industry.

Ranking and Accreditation:
LNMIIT holds 2nd rank among the best IT colleges in Jaipur and 3rd best private college in Rajasthan. LNMIIT is approved by AICTE and has also been accredited by NAAC with a grade 'A'.
- Admission: It is a “Non-Profit” Institute and admissions here are based on JEE (Mains). There is no reservation policy. Every student is treated equally based on their performance.
- Facilities: Facilities like infrastructure, hostel, mess are much better than IIT Kota.
- Placements: The Highest package offered in IIIT Kota is of about 27 lakhs/year whereas in LNMIIT it is 36 lakhs and the average salary package offered is around 10.48 lakhs and still increasing.
- Clubs and Extra-curricular: There are various clubs and extracurricular activities present on campus. All the clubs are actively involved in various kinds of sports, technical and cultural activities.

Which college one should go for Thapar University ECE or LNM-IIT Jaipur CSE ?
I have a few friends from both Thapar University and LNM-IIT Jaipur and based on the reviews I got from them, I will say LNMIIT Jaipur will be a better option. Here are the reasons why.
- Batch Strength: The total number of students at LNMIIT is less than 600, so the competition will be less in this college.
- Placements: The placement scenario of this college is excellent. Top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Oyo, Uber visit the campus for placements. Samsung is a mass recruiter in this college and has offered packages of more than 13 lakhs per annum. According to the recent placement highlights the average and highest CTC offered to the students are 12 LPA and 58 LPA respectively. Students also perform well in off-campus placements.
- Workshops: There are various kinds of workshops such as GSoC, mun, and many cultural and technical fests organized in the college.
- Reservations: There are no reservations or state quotas for admission.
- Coding Culture: The campus has a good coding culture.
