Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is based on industry standards and have every thing that one needs to learn. The curriculum prepares you pretty well as it is itself based on real world applications. Teaching methods needs to imorove as the teaching method is pretty outdated. It should be based on real world examples. Exams are conducted twice an year followed by sessional exams in between.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for campus employment opportunities after 4th semester. Companies that provides placements in my college are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Average package in my college is 3lpa and highest package is 8 lpa. 55-70% students get placed ever year frkm my college. I'm planning to sit for campus drives.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Tution doesn't increase as often, hikes in tution fee comes once in 3-4 years. The complete cost of my education will be somewhere around 3-4 lpa. You will get government scholarships if you belongs to reserved category. No, I haven't taken any campus employment and as far as I know my university does not provide any on campus employment opportunities.

Campus Life :

My university does not have any dedicated technical fest or cultural fest. But they do celebrate Indian festivals. The books and journals related to the curriculum are available in our library. Yes, my university has sports activities in campus , they even have cricket and football grounds. They do organize sports events here and there There are many cultural clubs and societies in my college such as the literary club, sports club, etc.

Admission :

You are eligible for the course if you have done your 12th from anywhere. You can find the application for admission online on their site or you can simply visit college and take admission offline. If you belongs to reserved category then you will be eligible for government scholarships. My university conducts exams twice an year. Exams are conducted in January and June . Difficulty levels of exam are moderate. They can improve thier placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course structure was well designed and updated with the ongoing preparations of government exams which helped me alot in my preparations as everywhere polity is something that is a mandatory one and hence the curriculum plus the overall teaching pattern the timing of exams and the level of difficulty was moderate if someone had attended all the classes, plus the marking scheme was a bit hard and other aspects like attendance was also included, however there's no such compulsion that one must attend the classes this was only applicable for sessionals

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science has good scope in future. It helps in understanding society, governance, etc. It should be quite practical not just theory based. It gets boring if we only study thoery. Sessional exams are there in 1 semester along with semester exam.
