Course Curriculum Overview :

I am a student in the Electrical Engineering branch at our college, which is affiliated with Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University. The curriculum predominantly leans towards theoretical knowledge, which, in my opinion, might not be ideal. However, the college actively organizes workshops and guest lectures to supplement theoretical learning with practical insights and industry-related skills. Our semester exams occur twice a year, encompassing both practical and theoretical papers. The difficulty level of these exams is moderate. This approach ensures a holistic evaluation of our understanding and application of the subjects.

Placement Experience :

Our college provides excellent placement opportunities during the campus placement season. Renowned companies such as TCS, Wipro, Mahindra, IBM, and Capgemini visit our campus, offering promising career prospects for students. This has significantly enhanced our confidence and career prospects, making the overall college experience highly rewarding.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure in our college is approximately one lakh, covering all fees, including tuition fees. An encouraging aspect is the availability of various Maharashtra government scholarship schemes. OBC category students receive a fifty percent scholarship, while SC/ST category students are granted a hundred percent scholarship. However, it’s noteworthy that our college currently doesn’t offer campus employment opportunities. Despite this, the accessibility of government scholarships significantly eases the financial burden for eligible students. Overall, the fee structure and scholarship support contribute positively to the affordability of education in our college.

Campus Life :

Prof Ram Meghe College of Engineering And Management provides an amazing campus life experience. The large, nature-filled campus hosts a variety of extracurricular activities, making it vibrant and engaging. Enjjoyy fest, our cultural extravaganza, stands out as the best college fest in Amravati. Technical events like hackathons, project exhibitions, and robotic workshops empower students to excel in their technical skills. Classrooms are well-equipped with essential equipment, fostering an optimal learning environment. The college has a commendable sports record, with students securing color coats annually, and our cricket team stands out as one of the best in the university. Diverse clubs, including music, coding, and sports, contribute to the holistic development of students. NSS activities, in which I actively participate as a volunteer, create a cultural impact on society, showcasing the college's commitment to community engagement.

Admission :

I am a student from Prof Ram Meghe College of Engineering and Management in Bandera. To secure admission to our college, two engineering entrance exams, MHT CET and JEE Mains, are mandatory. MHT CET has a moderate to hard difficulty level, while JEE Mains is notably challenging. After the exams, the admission process involves the CAP round, where you submit your preferred college list. If your score meets the college cutoff, you secure admission. Following this, a visit to the college campus is required for the admission process to proceed further. Our college provides various reservation benefits, and students can avail themselves of Maharashtra government scholarships. Overall, the admission process is comprehensive, with both entrance exams playing a crucial role, and the CAP round ensuring fairness in college allocation. In terms of improvement, better communication channels and simplified administrative procedures could enhance the overall admission experience.

Placement is not that good. Overall the average placement is only about 4,00,000 per year. And campus placement are there but it won't provide you high paying jobs you'll have to do that on your own. So focus more on personal skills

As I am in second year I don't have that much of idea about the placement but there are very good placements for the printing and intc branch in this college. There I will see near they got the very good packages for this branches and along with CS IT branches they got 40 to 50 lakh packages. Also the college provides the interview sessions and the placement training programs in that the experts come and give training to the students for placement programs. There are various students that are placed in with us countries like Japan Germany's and they are working in ITI and various professions.

I have also got nearly three placements. Currently, I am working in Accenture with a package of 6.5 lpa. I have experienced a decent placement process which was very systematic in that every or each of the students can get placed. For placements, SKNCOE is the best in Maharashtra.
