Remarks :

I would advise you to come here only if you don't get admission in Vellore or Chennai campus. Please don't pay extra money to study here. The college management is hardworking.

Entrance Preview :

Viteee marks are not disclosed only ranks are announced. My Viteee rank was 14524. I wanted to pursue CSE. At this rank, all seats of computer science were filled up at Vellore and Chennai campus. I could have got there paying 1 lakh more. But I choose vit Bhopal. Further, I didn't get CSE at any reputed IITs or NITs. Hence , I had to go to Vit and I don't regret it.

Internships Opportunities :

Not yet. I just completed my first year. The college was itself established in 2017. So, no idea on what will happen.

College Events :

Vit Bhopal had organized a two-day techno-cultural fest ADVITYA during March, 2018. All sorts of competitions such as dance, music, drama, treasure hunt, bug fix, FIFA, counter strike, etc are held. Many guest lectures and seminars and workshops are held from time to time.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

My academic fees are 198000 and my hostel fee is 125000 per year. This figure increases every year. However, many students here are paying much more money up to a combined total of 500000- 600000 per annum. Thus , we can say that the fee structure is a bit expensive.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Some of my friends are studying on educational loans(not through college Indian Bank has its branch inside vit Bhopal and provides a loan. First girl and boy to take admission at this campus get 50 percent scholarship.

Hostel Facilities :

Boy's hostel construction is finished. Girl's hostel construction is going on. The rooms are not spacious. 2 bed, 4 bed, and 6-bed type rooms are only available. Cleanliness is emphasized in the hostel. Mess food is very good. However, it gets boring and repetitive after few months. Night canteen facilities are available in the hostel. Both non veg and veg food is served.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure :

There are two semesters in a year. Each semester has three exams: CAT(continuous assessment test)-1 CAT-2 TEE(Term end examination)or FAT( final assessment test) CAT exams are for 50 marks and FAT or TEE are for 100 marks. CAT-2 is an open book examination. There is relative grading system in vit Bhopal.

Admission :

First you give Viteee entrance examination. It takes place around the same time of jee mains. The syllabus is comparatively less and the test is comparatively easier than jee mains. Then , you wait for few days until the ranks are announced at vit's official website. You are asked to select a campus for counselling ( Vellore , Chennai, Bhopal, Amravati). You are alloted specific counselling dates according to your ranks. The counselling commences during second or third week of march. During the counselling , you choose your preferred campus and branch. Then, your college starts in a month or two.

Faculty :

Vit Bhopal has all doctoral faculties. This is what the university boasts of. Some have even done their research from IITs and NITs. Faculty is said to be experienced( I believe differently). From my personal experience, I believe that the faculty is not excellent( obviously, exceptions exist). However, they are friendly and don't hesitate in solving doubts or explaining concepts.

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in our college as the highest package grabbed by our senior was 1.15 cr this year through Amazon eu. The percentage of students getting placement are around 80%. My plans are to grab campus placement.

Sum up all learned things to the astonishing work

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite good in Jabalpur Engineering College. Students are eligible and can avail campus placement from their 7th semester onwards. There are some companies i would like to mention , TCS, Reliance Jio, IBM, Wipro, Collabera, TrueChip, Cognizant and some others. Some of them came for mass selection of students with good knowledge of their companies. The highest salary package of companies co.e in JEC are 7-8 LPA. The average salary packages are provided by companies is 3-5 LPA. Chances of getting selected in the campus placement are depends upon the students Strong hold on the subject and their course. So basically the chances of getting selected is around 30-40% . Students usually tend to have many dram after getting selected in campus placement. As per my plan, after getting a degree i will prone to learn new technology and present myself a position where i can give my all conceptual knowledge earned from College period and convert into practical knowledge.

My college

Remarks:

If college will improvise the college placement ratio than that would be very helpful for all the students studying there.

Admission:

I have 60% above percentage in my 12th class so I was eligible to get admission in that college. The college is closer to my home also that's why I opted for that college. They took photocopy of all valid documents and first instalment of fee. they have there own bus facility and hostel as well which is suitable to all.
