Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum of a course at SPPU is suitable and comprehensive, with hands-on projects and real-life case studies being the crucial factors that finally affect my decision to take this course. It takes care of preparing the students adequately for real-life applications and besides it, creating a smooth transition to a university for further academic pursuits. Nevertheless, there are some things it can be improved in, for instance, by including more industry-driven topics and developing interactive teaching skills. The tests are, equally, frequent and timed, together with some of them might be difficult to cope with but they help to comprehensive learning.
Placement Experience :
Placements at SPPU Campus generally begin from the sixth semester on, wherein organizations such as Infosys and TCS require fresh talent for different roles. Packages on the highest end differ though, and pricing for average packages corresponds with industry norm. Moreover, the fact the majority of students secure placements corroborates SPPU's signals about career possibilities. For those without campus placements, resources for improving employability measures are provided as well including but not limited to internships and networking. My plan of taking up the job after my graduation is to find the jobs that are associated with my field of interests.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fees at SPPU are subject to annual rises governed by numerous factors (inflation and administrative expenses). The total expense of education consists of the tuition fee, the service fee and various other charges such as the fees for examination and library. There exist a variety of scholarships and grant options that include both merit-based and need-based aid programs. You are offered campus employment opportunities like, teaching assistant or research assistant roles based on the tasks to be done and the time consumed.
Campus Life :
Campus life that I experienced at SPPU is dynamic and fruitful. The two annual events- "Sangam" in February and "MindSpark" in September- only add to the lively atmosphere of the city. A library stands for a variety of books and journals, all of which are readily available for research. Classrooms are upgraded with the modern technologies, creating a conducive learning environment. At SPPU, there is a wide range of sporting and extracurricular activities you can choose from regardless of your area of interest. Student-led on-campus social groups and clubs are a means of creating a sense of belonging and enhance personal development. To sum up, SPPU campus life is quite dynamic and inclusive that is extending beyond studying.
Admission :
Navigating the admission process at SPPU was fairly smooth. The eligibility criteria were straightforward, and I easily found the application form online. While I appreciated the availability of reservation benefits, I found some aspects of the process could be improved. For instance, more transparency in how applications are evaluated would be helpful, and a more user-friendly application portal would streamline the process. Additionally, offering more flexibility in exam dates could alleviate scheduling conflicts for applicants.
